Excited for these and to see how/what Callaway is able to do with these. I haven't play Callaway wedges since the MG3 which I did like, but none since have really grabbed me.

Man, that gunmetal blue is purrdy, although I am saddened that the Z grind, the best grind in the Callaway stable in my opinion is locked to the Platinum for now.

I was able to hit these at PGASS this weekend. Both the regular and platinum. I was impressed.

So I have a set of these and they have been super solid performers. They spin like crazy and go further than my hi toes did, which partly sucked to figure out. I am thinking about trading my lob wedge for the platinum one and giving it a shot, the reviews have been pretty good so far.

Platinum is a platinum price but I think I am going to add it as well. I really liked how it performed but that was in a hitting bay with a mat. I would love to see it interact with turf. I am sure it's great.

I’m hearing that the model with the tungsten insert raised the center of gravity so they do have a lower ball flight.
In my mind a no go for a wedge. I want a wedge that will get up high and stop quickly. We have them at our club but we aren’t allowed to hit them.

I could be wrong but I believe that is exactly how they designed it to perform. They go lower to create more distance control but they also spin a ton so stopping isn't an issue.

You’re not wrong, though I think you already know that 😜. As CG goes up, ball flight moves down and spin goes up.

Many new irons with CG low and rearward made to help us hackers launch the ball easier. This takes spin off the ball sometimes making it difficult to control
