Which season would you rather have?

I know this has been brought up in another thread, but as of the Olympics who's season would you rather have, Scottie's or Xander's?

Scottie has had an amazing year winning The Masters, The Players, The Arnold Palmer, RBC, the Memorial, The Travelers, and Olympic gold. Plus, he's won over $28 million.

Xander has two majors in the PGA Championship and The Open. Plus, he's finished in the top 10 at the other two majors.

It's a tough one for me, but I'm going with Scottie due to a major win and winning the Players and winning in the elevated events.

With Scottie’s Olympic Gold, with an absolutely CLUTCH -9 in the final round, he’s all but sealed the best individual season this year over Xander. A great year for him too, no doubt. But that was pure brilliance and domination today.

I've been a Xander fan for awhile now, so I'll stick with that. Scottie just has eaw amazing talent, and the ability to pull out some clutch shots and putts!  Kudos to him!

It’s a fair question. If it were Scottie’s first Masters I’d say Scottie.

Xander’s two major wins do it for me. Play to win major championships.

Yesterday, when it was Xander at the top of the leaderboard, I said “Shoot, are we going to look back at this year as Xander’s year?” However, Scottie has that inevitability about him. I go into every tournament expecting he’ll win. I’d take that kind of season for sure.

Alright, I'm going to be that guy to throw some spice here. I'd rather have Bryson's season and YT success than Xander's two majors, but I'd take Scottie's season over both of them.

Prior to the Olympic win I was leaning Xander just because of how I view Majors as a fan.

The Olympic win is hard to overlook and given what it means to many countries it clearly puts Scottie over him for me.

Scottie has a calm demeanor no matter what the outcome or situation is, and his steady play all year long with the come from behind Olympic win shows that at this time he is truly ahead of the rest of the field at this time.

I was pumped to see Xander win his first major. I think he was due for a long time. Then he grabbed 2 in one season it was awesome. However, Scottie had probably one of the most dominant seasons I’ve seen in a long time. His other wins outside of the green jacket were mostly elevated events with some being defending the trophy. It’s Scottie all the way.

I agree with what mostly everyone has said so far. Although in most circumstances and throughout history, 2 majors > 1 major, Scottie's year outside the majors has been nothing short of historic. This will be one of the greatest single seasons in PGA Tour history. Before the elevated events became a thing, you could probably argue Xander had the better year. But Scottie won some of the biggest events at the toughest courses with the toughest fields.

He also won the Masters, which many golfers would deem the ultimate prize in their careers. The PGA Champ was a great win for Xander but a lot of people discounted it because of the lack of difficulty at the course. The Open victory for him was an explanation point that he's here to stay and no longer a choke artist, but it doesn't put his year above Scottie's.

Most players also consider The Players the unofficial "fifth major," so for Scottie to win that as well I think just seals the deal. I don't think money has anything to do with it. Yes, it's an easy way to measure success for these players, but I'm sure most of them would trade all the money for victories.

Scottie's for sure. Winning Olympic Gold for your country would be unreal, plus it's only every 4 years, which makes it that much harder. Scottie is on a different level.

Two majors is always impressive, but right now that gold medal along with the other wins does it for me, Scottie.

Scottie, hands down. 6 wins + gold, that’s hard to turn down. Xander has had a great year, but nothing like what Scottie is doing. Plus, I’m a proud American, so winning gold seals it for me!
