Wedge gap analysis? PGASS / GG?

Good afternoon! Anybody ever done a wedge gap analysis at either pgass or golf galaxy before? How does it work and what are the end goals??? I've done a driver and putter fitting before so I get the jist, but curious what goes on with the wedge type fittings.
