Southport 2 and Ocracoke

Recommended Posts

Both putters are done in our new Hot Salts Black Oxide. The Southport 2 will be getting some time on the Nationwide and the Ocracoke is going to a "customer"

It is funny how the milling response differs, sometimes. I did this aggressive milling on a putter, recently and was asked if it was going to smooth out when the finish was applied. He hadn't asked for it and I should have checked before doing it. Luckily, for me, it was done before any work beyond the initial smoothing and such was done. I slapped her back in my mill, sped up the cutter, slowed down the feed and hit the mark for a smoother finish on the shoulders, no problem.

I like the aggressive style myself, but really love the fact that no matter what the customer asks for, we can pretty much make it just as he or she is looking for.

Thanks for the comments,
