I read the MGS most wanted testing and the SG for the ER2 is 0.96 / 18 holes SG for the Cleveland Huntington beach #1 is 0.46 / 18 holes. The Cleveland putter is 99.99 The ER2 is 329.00 Same thing for the Mallet testing too.. ER7 SG is 0.95 / 18 Cleveland is .5 / 18 ER7 is $359 Cleveland is $99.99 Is the ROI for 0.5 strokes worth 3+x the cost ? I suppose that's a personal decision... I like the fact that the older Rife putters get the ball rolling forward without skidding. Having had some discussions as part of the most wanted testing, there are more variables than just the grooves. Case In point evnroll provides multiple putters with different lofts for the testing to produce the best roll for someone that forward presses vs some that has a vertical shaft. Proper loft on the putter is a bigger key to getting the best roll. If you hit down you may need more lift than someone that hits up. Explaining/fitting putters during Most wanted testing is part of what is requested by the manufacturers. We were told how we were supposed to putt with the seemore putters and the bloodline putters. Other manufacturers let the testers figure it out in their own; I struggled with the arm lock putter last year because it just didn't make sense to me or how I putter. cksurfdude and StrokerAce 2 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe Backup Putters: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W, TM-180 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

If you've had a fitting and know your specs and you are participating in the most wanted testing for putters, are the putters adjusted to your personal specs? Or do you use them as they come off the rack? Also - does everyone test all of the putters or are there a group of people who use mallets and thus test only the mallets..blade guys test blades...etc.? Or do you use them as they come off the rack? Also - does everyone test all of the putters or are there a group of people who use mallets and thus test only the mallets..blade guys test blades...etc.? Putters are not adjusted to my specs. They are as provided by the manufacturers. MGS requests 34†length. The testing is broken into blades and mallets. Based on time the testers can do blades, mallets, or both; it is up to us. The order of putters is randomized across testers as is the order of the distance for each putter. You also don't cross between blades and mallets. You have to finish one category before you start the next. I test both and there were I think 5 blade putter groups with 5 putters each. I start mallets today and I don't know how many groups; based on the line of putters I should be about 5 as well. Each session/group takes about an hour.
