I was a tester in 2021 for Arccos, and yes, I did experience the odd missed shot, for the most part it was good. What turned me off was the annual subscription, so when the subscription was up for renewal, I cancelled. I have spent the past year trying various other technologies, most aggressively, Shot Scope. From my experience this past year I have come to understand that no technology works 100% of the time. The vendors who offer these solutions are not working on 'Mil-Spec' or better; they are not making space craft that goes to the moon! They are making a product they hope will sell, provide reasonable performance, and give the lowest price point they believe will make it attractive. All of that said, I did really enjoy that data that Arccos collected. Also if I do purchase Arccos, I may not be a permanent relationship. In a year, who knows what other technology my be out to tempt me? Pretty much in the same boat. I was going to let my Arccos access die but now I’m thinking I may just get an Apple Watch (for other purposes) and just cut the Link out of the equation. Then again, I may hold out for the Smoke sensors again…the green just drives me crazy. cksurfdude, Paul Hedrick and GolfSpy_BEN 3 Quote Driver: TSR2, Ventus Blue 6 S, 65g Stiff FW: TSR2 3w, 15, Ventus Blue 7 S, 70g Stiff Qi10 7w, 21, Ventus Blue 7 S, 70g Stiff Hybrids: Stealth DHY 4H, Ventus Blue 8 S, 80g Stiff Irons: SMS 6, SMS Pro 7-PW, Accra TZ 95 stiff Wedges: SM9 48 F Grind, 52 F Grind, 56 M Grind, 60 T Grind, Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff Putter: EV8 Ball: Pro V1 Click here for my Edel SMS & SMS Pro Irons Official Review! ZackS
I had been thinking of the Lab Link1 as I like the idea and feel of no torque when I have tried it in the store. But today I was wondering in golf galaxy and picked up a Evnroll EV5.2 Duo and I have never had a putter just sit so perfectly for me and for the first time ever I felt like I new where I was aiming and was confident in it. I have always been a good putter but my aim has never been great with mallets or blade putters and I have never been able to be confident in it. So I have had to always use the line on the ball but it can't be to big or I feel I focus on it to much instead of just making a stroke which can get me guiding the ball and distance control can suffer. My brain was not ready to let me spend $420 so I tried some other putters that are less with that same style and putted with them good as well but nothing was quite as good or gave me the same confidence in my aim as the Evnroll. I think this thing might haunt my dreams unless I get it GolfSpy_BEN, cksurfdude and DRLEONARD58 1 2 Quote WITB: Driver: Titleist TSR3 with TPT Nitro 15Hi 5 wood: Calloway Paradym Triple Diamond with TPT Power 15Lo Driving Iron: Tour Edge Exotics EXS Ti-Utility Hybrid: PXG 0317X Gen2 hybrid with TPT Power 15Lo Irons: Takomo 101T with Nippon Modus 120 shafts Wedges: Celveland RTX4 50 Degree, Calloway Jaws Raw 58 degree Z grind and 54 degree S grind Putter: Edel EAS 4.0 Ball: Srixon Z Star Diamond / Z Star XV Official 2024 TPT Shaft Test
GolfSpy AFG
I’m playing so little now and into the foreseeable future that I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth it, but re-shafting my Edel irons and Vokey wedges is still on my mind. Have Steelfiber i95s, but (when was last playing regularly) everything was a little too high and a little too much spin. Was going to go straight to i110s but am now thinking I’ll at least try Accra TZi, maybe even Fuji’s Atmos…?!? Also demo'ed the Ascent PL Blue 40-R and 50-R and liked them very much .. to me they seemed very comparable in feel and performance to the GPLB ... fyi I have the 45-A. So I guess that's to say, as @chisag already did, either one might work well for you! Vegan_Golfer_PNW 1 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ...
