Franc38
I'm rather eclectic... I do listen to "classical" music (mostly baroque, even if I'm not averse to some proper classical, and romantic too), a good bit of jazz (mostly of the modern/fusion/rock brand) and blues... and then I also listen to a lot of metal, a fair bit of it bit of the "extreme" variety, some deathcore, some progressive and/or technical death metal, and a good bit of black metal, even if as a Christian I don't care much for some of the themes and lyrics in the genre. Some good "black that's not satanic/anti-Christian" that I'm into is the "unblack" band, Antestor. Real cool, cold, second wave vibes. The sort of contemporary heir to them, with a side of self deprecating humour, that I listen a lot too these days is Luteøks. heppler22 1 Quote Aim small... pray to miss small My bag: Ping hoofer lite. Sean-Shank Redemption
I’ve been all over the place lately, but the last couple days I’ve had Alice In Chains Unplugged on repeat. chisag
... My OG favorite guitarist and still is. I had a chance to interview Joe Walsh and it was amazing both on and off the air. I told him he had been my favorite since I first heard James Gang Rides Again and he could play with any other group and I would instantly recognize his style. He lamented most would stop locking themselves in their rooms for 10 hours a day and have an "intimate relationship" with their guitar. Learning how to bend the neck, pull/push strings and experiment endlessly with techniques finding something unique to them. Way before we knew it he said video would ruin audio expploration and even laughed saying dancing might become as our more important than sound. I thought he was crazy but he was prescient. ... Still one of my top 5 favorite LP's and this medley is a great representation of his style.
