In the city I work we had a place that did Halal chicken like the carts in NYC and it has closed down so I had to find an online recipe, it turned out very good. It hit the spot perfectly and tasted very good. Cooked up some small potatoes and roasted them then smashed them and cranked the heat on the stove to get a crispiness. I smoked some turkey breast for Thanksgiving as a trial and.... my mother in law is no longer interested in cooking turkey next year. I bought butterball turkey breast because it was all i could find locally, but i was disappointed to find out that it isn't just a single, large turkey breast, it was a semi-large one with some filets to make up the weight to 4lbs. Looking for something like this: I tried to Google but I could only find pre-cooked birds that will ship to you. Looking for a Snake River Farms type of service, but one that offers turkey breast. I rubbed then with olive oil, then seasoned with Salt, Pepper, Onion powder and Garlic Powder. then Air fried on the "Chicken" setting for 15 min.. Better than I could have imagined, and throw in Mashed potatoes, and Stuffing.. Me and Father in Law enjoyed ourselves.. There are tons of alternatives, its easy for us with our daughter having a dairy allergy (needs an epi-pen) and we have found tons of alternatives that I have made and I would say almost everyone cant tell the difference until I tell them. Could easily do an alfredo sauce (do a creamy mushroom sauce weekly right now that's awesome on pasta and meatball subs). Occasionally want wings or something like that but weekly I still have red meat typically. Recently have been looking at doing some sort of subscription with my brothers possibly to get something like elk or bison. "weekly treat" type deal, steak is expensive as hell as it is right now so might as well go for something really good.
