Inexpensive cart bags

Anyone try or use the MG cart bag?

I've been watching the othe bag thread, and read up all comments on 2018 best cart bag, but still so confused...

 

I hate to dump $250 for starters, and I don't need the bag to hold a 6 pack. I don't play ping, and don't want a bag that screams PING, or any monster logos for that matter.

 

I guess my main concern is that it stays in the correct position, and has the tall clubs in back.

 

My current bag is a ogio hybrid, but it really doesn't do well on the cart.

 

Anyone having good experiences with the more “budget cart bags”?

so we bought it for him. He plays 2-3 times a week and wears bags out. I played with him last week and it still looks pretty new. He says he likes it.

As a Ranger/Starter two days a week I see a lot of different bags. Recently I have seen two of the MG Cart bags.....so I talked to the owner about them and they were very pleased on the bags durability and value.

I know a couple guys with these.

One had an issue with the zipper tearing away and MG swapped it.

No problem since.

Thinking well worth its money.

I have have aTour Edge cart bag. I play at least once a week and usually go to the range at least that much. I'm going on my 4 th year with it and it is still in great shape. I think I paid just under a hundred for it.

Wilson has a super cheap, and super-light, cart bag. But .. "you get what you pay for"and I found the bag sacrificed stability for lightweight - it would twist and deform under the cart strap (same for a push cart).

 

I found a Datrek DG Lite II on sale that so far I'm very happy with - light, durable, lots of dividers and minimal graphics/logos.

I actually found a used one on Craigslist that I'm gunna check out tomorrow

They said it's a “golfaholics”, but I can't find anything online about that.

But it's got 15 slots up top, and it's $25, so we'll see...
