So after much deliberation, I've come to the realization that I can't decide what to bring to Florida next week.  Heading to Orlando on business but will be squeezing in a Sunday 36 with Foz, MattF and RevKev (Rev won't make the morning 18 - I understand he'll be busy  :rolleyes: )

 

So because I'm indecisive, let's crowd source this trip - you guys get to decide what weapons get on the plane with me.  Some rules --

 

Pick 1 Metal wood/hybrid combo

Pick 1 iron set and 1 wedge set

Pick 1 putter

 

Thanks for your help, and may the best setup win!

 

We're teeing off at Foz's Pebble Creek at 8:00 AM a week from this Sunday, with the afternoon round at the Rev's club starting around 2:30.

10 votes so far - here's the latest tally:

 

Srixon Z 565 w/Paderson shaft in a blowout

 

Tour Edge 3 wood slightly ahead of the PING Stretch G

 

Hybrids are a toss up - right low Srixon 19* and Hogan 21* are ahead -- not sure how the mix is going to work

 

We have an Old School Dead Heat in irons - Wilson and MacGregor are tied!

 

Also a virtual dead heat with wedges. Cleveland is slightly ahead but it's too close to call.

 

Willamette looks like it should book a ticket to Orlando.

Getting interesting --

 

Srixon/Paderson combo still leading, as is the Tour Edge FW.

 

Srixon 19* and Hogan 21* leading the way for Hybrids, and the Wilson V6's are taking a commanding lead over sentimental favorite MacGregors (and I just regrouped them today!!!).

 

PING and Cleveland are tied in the Wedge battle, and the Edel Willamette is still leading, but its kid brother Tourqe Balance is making some noise.

I vote:

the driver with the Paderson shaft so Rev has company.

ping stretch G cause it's got the coolest name  (stretching Graham McD out?)

the mac tourney irons so you can tell the guys how you whooped them with 30 y/o clubs

the PM grind wedges because.... PHIL... oh, and, FIGJAM too

the Edel Willamette because I grew up in the great Willamette valley in Oregon
