bens197
I'm playing Vice Pro Plus right now. I was loyal to the ProV1x but $4 a ball isn't happening. The consumer direct model works because this product can hold its own. All the boxes check off for me... justnred
I just got a box of vice pro+ and played my first round with them on Saturday. So far I am hitting them pretty well and they seem as advertised. As mentioned above they seem close if not equal to prov1 balls, and hopefully my opinion doesn't change after playing with them more with them. After reading what you guys have said I think my next batch will be OnCore and/or snell and see how those feel. It seems that most guys are over paying $50 a dozen for golf balls, so I am glad there are some quality options out there for us. drduffer
Thats awesome. I'll admit I was skeptical of these direct to consumer balls until this year. Oncore ELIXR has changed that view 180 degrees. I've converted at least two other players at our club. As for the Vice I've heard nothing but great things about it as well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Greetings, All.This is my 1rst post to My Golf Spy. I am a 17 hdcp. In my humble opinion, the OnCore Elixir outperforms the Titleist Pro V1, the Titleist AVX, the Vice Pro, the Snell (I forget which 1- played 3 rounds w/ balls gifted me by a friend), & the Kirkland ball. No, I do not work for OnCore. Skeptical, at 1rst. Only tried the OnCore because I saw a post on line. My 1rst impression: “Holy crap! Is this ball legal?!!!!?†Hot off the club face (Callaway XR driver). Smoked off the irons (Mizuno MP 18s- Yeah, I know. Someone carrying my hdcp doesn't deserve to be playing these clubs- but I cannot hit game imprvmt clubs-> waaaayyy too big- It's a mental thing). Exquisite off my wedges (Titleist Vokey & 60°, 56°, 52°), w/ bite (That's odd. That never happens!). Buttery soft of the putter face (Scotty Cameron “old school†Newport, gun metal finish). Overall, love it. However, like any golfer, open to anything better- especially if it is less costly! Until then, even though I have the other balls still in my bag (along with my Bridgestone e-7 balls- very consistent in the wind, remind me of the old Wilson ball), it now is my “Go To†ball when it really counts (Tournaments, etc.). My apologies. Please forgive me for such a long post Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
