The number of people on this forum who play aftermarket shafts or play with people that do is a lot less compared to wrx so I’m never really surprised when there’s something like this reported and discussed on wrx and not here. PX had similar issues with the original hzrdus line especially in the yellow and red. rkj427
Also haver a couple TR shafts here, a 5S and a 6S but both came from a Fuji dealer I know in GA for me to test along with a couple driver heads. Honestly only used the 6S one time on range, have been playing with a TR 5S and Ventus Black 5S for about 6 rounds and about 6 or so range sessions to get them dialed into my game. No issues with any of them, and from what I saw on the other site related to breakage, both the possibility of counterfeits and some type of unusual loading damaging the shaft fibers in the middle should be considered. Although some stated they purchased shaft from a dealer, no one admits to doing anything out of the ordinary which may have damaged them either. I also saw a video where it was NOT recommended to perform a stretching exercise by holding the shaft at opposite ends while making swing motion moves as that could also potentially cause unusual stresses on the shaft. juspoole
I've had a Ventus Blue TR with no issues. Before that the standard Ventus Blue Velocore with no issues. Hope I'm not setting myself for an issue now that I've put this out there. The original Ventus Black Velocore was actually the club I was fit into a couple years ago. The Blue has been pretty good for me, but I'm wondering if I could see lower spin with something not too stiff from the black. I also need something that isn't incredibly low launching so that and the stiffness were the reasons I decided blue. bens197 and edingc 2 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"
