Congratulations to all winners and everyone who posted in the MGS Tour Championship for week 7!!!  

Again I would like to thank the MGS Tour Championship for the opportunity to compete with my MGS forum friends, the unfailing support of MGS Forum Mods whose unending support and encouragement really does help get through my denseness that it is possible for a total Hack as myself to compete and do well, and for my wife who makes sure I get out to golf to give her some peace in her day.

Curious how @fozcycle had Net Score to Par of -5 with a Net Score of 79.

Gross: 94

Course Hdcp: 18

Net: 76

Score to Par: (70) +6

Net Birdies: 6 

Did not record longest drive for this round

Good catch Kenny... the gross strokes over par is incorrect - which drove the net score to par..  I'll correct it.

Becuase his gross strokes over/under par is wrong.  Should be 19 (if par 72) not 7.  Net score to par should be a 7

Corrected and updated results are posted in the Winner Announcement thread and points will be adjusted accordingly on the Forum Cup Points thread.  Thanks again for the review

Pretty good considering how cold it was and that I was under a lot of back pain from an old injury.  Score wasn't great, got caught in the sand too much, but net birdies increased to tie me at 2nd with @revkev.

How are you guys liking the new posting system? 

Tim has been working his tail off in the background to perfect it for you all of you. I think the last time I chimed in I gave him a shout out, but feel it is necessary to do so again. Really appreciate his efforts with these and looking forward to when I can start competing again!

I have to figure out how to use that - I'm always behind the times and I'm scared of my new administrative assistant, so I have to do this on my own.  She's an Israeli National and 5 year combat veteran of the IDF.    Actually, even though I should be scared of her she would help me.  She's just too busy learning her job for me to ask her yet.  

 

And she makes everyone on campus or at church on Sunday morning feel safe.  I pity the fool who would come on campus looking to do harm.

I like the new posting system.  Pretty easy and straightforward;  Assuming there is backend code for this,  probably could have been a little easier to enter the data and calculate the stuff on the backend.   I probably would have just done score, course par, and course handicap, birdies, and long drive.   All the other data could have been calculated from those numbers

Agreed cnosil, that was also the intent with the "stroke over/under par" field, which turned out to be the most confusing of all the numbers entered.  Your suggestion is already planned for v.12   (maybe to start the new season).
