EasyPutter
Conversation in the PM thread is about the views of RNK and the blind tee shots to fairway. Comments made have included a challenge of using a sleeve of balls to start and see how far they last, winner being the one who's sleeve lasts the longest. I'm one of the short tee box guys and I know the tendency to try to "hit it hard" to clear the natural hazards and find short grass will be something I will be working to win the mind game involved. That said I have no doubt my sleeve of balls will only last any length of time if I don't crumple it as it's contents will again succumb to the encouragements of our fellow Forum member @Yellow Ball I am bringing my spares bag, the one full of saved and rescued balls found along the way in past rounds. Just last week I had to swerve on the road to avoid a sudden hazard that caused my IGBRC "experienced" balls carry bag to roll over on the backseat floor. I frequently count things as something my mother always did, and I counted the balls as I put 118 balls back into the bag. That number should be able to get through RNK before it's depleted 82 JohnSmalls, TJ Hall, sirchunksalot and 2 others 5 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. |> Big Dogs: First Strike Rattlesnake (10), TeelessTM (13), Tommy Armour TA1 3h (19), Ginty Trouble Club (29) |> Blades: First StrikeTM DeliveranceTM 4(23) 5(26) 6(29) 7(33) 8(37) 9(41) P(45) |> Wedges: Worx (55) Lovett (59) |> Flatstick: L.A.B. cksurfdude
ok @cnosil serious question -- originally was thinking of driving down, but now looking at flights from NY to VA ... so how much of a PITA is it getting from Norfolk to Williamsburg?? That option leaves from my preferred airport closer to home, which is easier to get to and to park at, and arrives 9:25 am (Thurs 5/30). Also the cheapest flight.
