@Bobbers good call on Carbite.  It triggered me to search through my golf bucket.  Several years ago I found a Carbite blade putter head.  Someone had broken the shaft off. I had found the putter head in the woods while ball hawking.

I kept the putter to see if it could be reshafted at some point.

IMG_0997.jpg.8ff5ca7dc7d83dfcdccaa53b8e838cca.jpgIMG_0998.jpg.5897988f7b092fca01fecb6853eca28c.jpg

From the photo it looks like the hosel, where the shaft inserts, might be broken off.  That would make reshafting it problematic.  If it's simply the shaft is broken off it's a piece of cake to remove the old shaft and start over.

Dunlop=Srixon...change my mind. Dunlop, the tire company got bought up by Goodyear and Sumitomo rubber. The golf patents all went to Sumitomo in the sale, and they are the parent manufacturer of Srixon/Cleveland.

I'll add SeeMore putters, PowerBilt, and Alien (lol)

I believe SeeMore is still making quality putters.  https://cart.seemore.com/

Not sure if these guys are buying up all the old brands, or just licensing the names, and putting them under one umbrella. Looks like they now have Hogan, Teardrop, Zebra, MacGregor and Ram.

yes,  Penfold has shown up in the glove, bag, and ball tests for MGS.  https://penfoldgolf.net/

Yes! themselves doesn't exist,  but the C-Groove tech is in Adams Golf Clubs.  I believe Adams is still owned by TaylorMade.

I see a lot of KZG here. It could be they are more out of the US market. I was a bit surprised seeing the amount here.

One I don't really see anymore is Powerbilt. Growing up, and still living in Louisville those clubs were offered everywhere here! All the muni courses, ranges, etc had them and Pal Joey it seemed! The PB was decent from what I recall, and they can still be found at play it again sports and random yard sales.

Faultless golf balls, out of Ashland, Oh. I believe they paid Lee Trevino to play them for a while. Classic one piece ball from the sixties. In regards to Northwestern, it was said that other companies sold clubs by the set, Northwestern sold them by the truck load.

My first two sets of golf clubs were from Spalding - starter set when I was about 13, then Spalding Executives (when they were still forged) that I got as a high school graduation present.

I remember when I started playing golf (early 1970s) the biggest brands of golf balls were

Titleist, Spalding Dot, Wilson Staff and Maxfli (I think this was then owned by Dunlap but the name now is owned by Dick's/Gold Galaxy.

I would love to find a set of Spaulding EPIC blade irons, They were the clubs my dad bought before passing away when I was a kid and they are what I learned play golf with, they were amazing and I was able to become a good ball striker with them.

If anyone comes across a set of irons like these please let me know. Been looking for years.

Powerbilt was the go to club when I grew up in the 50’s. Fuzzy Zoeller was the Man in the 60’s playing them on tour. I gamed the Power Bilt Citations for 20 years. In the early 2000’s I tried the Power Bilt Air Force One clubs with nitrogen infused. Years later AFO division split with PB to create their own brand. Then poof, they all disappeared.
