Rob Person
I see alot of the RX balls being shown so far! Comparisons should be interesting! @cksurfdude for me at least, i am going to face some challenges with the mindset process, and hopefully this process will become ingrained into my normal routine and integrate itself seamlessly before im done. I already think enough on the course, and adding not one extra thought, but THREE will be where I may stumble and fumble. For this test, my main goal is to see If this MINDSET will be able to MERGE into my own, and create a more fluid thinking dynamic, and help reduce my overthinking. Secondary tests will be on durability, flight path, ball control, etc. William P, cksurfdude and Northern Monkey 2 1 Quote WITB-Foremost 551's - 3w, 5w, 5-SW (circa 1998), Top Flite 460cc Driver, Adam's 7w, Warrior GW and 60⁰, Odyssey AI-One DB putter. Rob Person
A funny thought occurred to me as well. Picture it, I am on the tee box, friends are watching me, I am just staring at the ball. I start mumbling about the colors, trying to create a focus. RDel90
Received my B XS Mindset today!! First impression was met with mixed feelings. I've been gaming the Maxfli Tour/TourX for the last couple years, and the last couple weeks been getting used to the new Maxfli MaxAlign. I used to play the Bridgestone Tour B X pretty consistently last in 2020/21. Loved the distance, just wanted more greenside feel and control which led me to the Maxfli. On to the unboxing. The box itself is pretty visually appealing on the front. Back, too much text for me. Looks like an overcrowded PowerPoint presentation slide. I understand the need to be multi-lingual these days, but I don't recall noticing it before on any packaging. There is so much information on the box and sleeves the font started getting really small having both English and French on the package. On the sleeves, I really had difficulty reading the Red, Yellow, Green Mindset process and needed my phone camera to zoom in on it. Really made me feel old!! I'm only 41 and do wear glasses but overall pretty good vision. Even close up in the sleeve image below it is a little difficult to read. Especially the white font on the yellow box for Visualize. On to the ball itself. One weird thing for some reason I always liked how the depression dimples Bridgestone felt in my hand. I don't know how to describe it but just feels nice to me. Looking at the Mindset graphic itself, I don't know but I feel like it could have been just a tad bigger. Or at least make the arrows outside "Identify" circle bigger (could probably even go same width as the circles). There's still a bit of open room on the ball. Maybe I just got used to the new MaxAlign on my gamer Maxfli. I would have loved to put these in play next week, but I'll be heading up to go to Round 1 at Augusta next week. While I will get a round in on the road, I don't want to add in variables of a course I've never played before and grass I'm not used to playing on. So most likely won't get to hit the Mindset until after mid-month. unccross 1 Quote Bag: Sub 70 Cart Series bag Driver: Ping G425 LST 9 deg (set to 7.5 deg/"big minus") Mitsubishi C6 Blue Stiff 55g Grip JumboMax Ultralite (=std grip Jumbo size) 3W: Ping G410 14.5 deg (Set to 13.5 deg) Mitsubishi C6 Blue Stiff 65g Grip JumboMax (=std grip Jumbo size) Hybrid: 19 deg (Set to 18) deg Ping G410 hybrid Mitsubishi C6 Black Stiff 80g Grip JumboMax Ultralite (=std grip Jumbo size) Irons: 5-GW Irons Cobra Forged Tec X KBS Tour Lite Regular -0.25" Grip JumboMax (=std grip Jumbo size) Wedges: 50-07 S-grind, 54-08 D-grind and 58-12 deg D-grind Mizuno T22 Denim Copper Grip Golf Pride Z-Grip Putter: Cobra King 3D Printed Agera Armlock Putter 41" Game Ball: Maxfli TourX CG

PhilM75072
I definitely appreciate the opportunity, and I'm really looking forward to testing these balls to see if they can address two of my weaknesses. I've generally used alignment aids on the tee (par 3s, 4s and 5s), and on the greens. However, I am poor at even thinking of visualizing my shots, and I tend to focus on the general area of the ball instead of a specific spot on it. It will be interesting to see how this "reminder" graphic changes my pre-shot routine and approach to the game, and if I can carry it over to when I can't take the ball in hand and the graphic isn't showing or isn't properly lined up. In the way of introduction, I am in my mid 70s, and I have been playing golf since before I reached my teenage years. I have carried a single-digit handicap for many years. I finally made a concession to my age and declining length with all my clubs by moving up to the senior tees in January 2022 at the age of 74. A big reason for my handicap being as low as it has been, has typically been my ability to make birdies, something that has become more difficult, as you will see in the next paragraph. Historically, my strength has been my iron game, but you would never know it based on recent performance, but I feel there is a reason. I joined a different course last year, and before they replaced all 18 greens, they were very small, much smaller than I have ever been used to, and, thus, difficult to hit. As part of the renovation process, they enlarged most of the greens, some by as much as 30%, but, being new, they are exceptionally firm. Hit anywhere but on the very front of the green and you will go long. They are also being watered heavily in the mornings when I play and they all slope from back to front, so that takes away the idea of landing short and having the ball bounce up onto the green. If you can't hit many greens in regulation, you aren't going to make a lot of birdies! I have been a Shot Scope user since the V3 was introduced in July 2020, upgrading to the X5 when it came out. Being retired, I play golf every weekday, weather permitting, year 'round. Living in North Texas, you can't play every day, or even necessarily every week in the winter, but certainly one can get out several times per month even during the worst of winters. As a result, I have a lot of data accumulated that I will be able to compare with the results of my Bridgestone Tour B RX testing. Finally, in the way of pre-testing additional information, I have been primarily playing the Vice Pro and Pro Plus, with the Plus surprisingly performing well for my game despite my slow swing speed. That is actually confirmed by MGS' 2023 ball test! Again, it will be interesting to see how this Bridgestone ball compares in both feel and performance.
