I shot my best round of the year today!   I'm efforting!  4 birdies and 5 bogeys this morning.   The other day I birdied the first 3 of 5 holes only to double the next then it was Meh after that on my way to a 77.

Way to go!  Great round and worthy of a promotion....upward.  My secret plan of laying low and having everyone promoted up and out is working!

If you are interested in playing, please reply in this thread no later than Sunday July 14th. Any entries after that date will be considered, only if there are remaining spots unfilled. Thank You and Good Luck!

I'm glad you're getting it checked out. I hurt my foot playing last year and waited about 4 months before going to the doctor. I have foot issues anyway and thought it'd go away plus, I'm stubborn. I hope they get you taken care of.

I'm the same way.. Been going on for months and getting worse instead of better..I catch myself swinging flat footed and hitting the toe of the club more and more.. Got home from work and can barely stand this evening

I agree.. My mindset has changed in the past couple years.. Went from "tough it out" to take care of it before I can't move when I reach 60

Hey @GolfSpy_BEN when you have a moment, will you please add this fine gentleman to the appropriate flight, I know he has posted scores in weeks 12, 10, and 6 (and possibly others). I can't remember if there is any formal sign up required other than posting scores.

I know @GolfSpy_BEN is working on updating the VCT Flights tonight and should have something posted.   Once we have the final VCT week 12 results, we'll finalize the field, set the tournament flights and be ready for Thursday's team drawings.

OK, the field and flights are set.  We have 34 golfers participating.   I had to combine some of the VCT flights and move a few people around to help balance the field.  Here goes:

There are four teams in each flight, except Flight II that has five.  At Thursday's call, Josh Parker will be conducting a blind draw to establish each team within a flight.  Within each flight there will be two groups of two team (again, except for Flight II which will have one three team group).  The two teams in each group will play each other in a two-person best ball competition in week one (VCT week 14 July 22-28).  The deadline for score submissions for week 1 is noon, Monday, July 29 (but sooner is better than later).  Week 1 winners will be announced Monday, July 29th.  The two winners of the flight group play will face off for flight championship on week 2 (VCT week 15 July 29-August 4).  The submission deadline is noon on August 5th.  All four Mid-Season VCT Tournament flight winners will be announced in the evening on Monday, August 5th.

After completing your round, please post it on the VCT weekly competition.  I will be keeping an eye out for each of your scores.  Make sure you post a picture or other electronic representation of your hole-by-hole scoring with your submission so I can generate your team's best ball score.  Your course handicap will be generated from your submitted course rating and slope numbers and your VCT index.  You handicap strokes will be applied accordingly. 

In cases of ties, the team with the most net birdies will be declared the winner.  If that is tied...well, we'll come up with something like pulling a team name out of a hat.

So, get your best draft day outfit on and be ready to hear your name called Thursday!  Let the fun begin!
