I actually laughed at this, out loud even... But I realize now that my Tiffany blue obsession may have taken a slight life of it's own... Bought a new cooler and said hmm... Why not on the color. The. I had a few Scotty stickers lying around being unused so why not...

I got a 15% discount on it.  I've yet to see one priced under retail anywhere either, so when I found the Tundra 45 and got a 15% discount on it, well, twas a no brainer for me...  I also ordered a cart and some wheeleez wheels for when we go to the beach... Cause they're heavy when loaded.

When loaded? They're heavy when empty. But it's hard to find a cooler that compares.

It's not that bad... It's around 25 lbs empty.  And I have a Pelican that's just as good, does the exact same things and actually has the rated volume it's stated to have.  But they didn't have one this big in this color anywhere so I had to have this one too.

 

And you can get them at a discount, I got this one 15% off retail.  Was under $300, shipping made it $311 ($20 shipping)

The Hasps on the Pelican make it "tricky" to open,  I have the same problem with my Pelican Gun cases.  check out the Yeti Hopper, perfect for the golf cart.

If you really think about it, ALL high end coolers are a waste of cash.  Let's face it, A $50.00 Coleman extreme does the same job as a Yeti, Pelican, and a Steel belted, unless your going off grid for more that a couple weeks, that is where a Yeti, Pelican and Grizzly shine.

I got one of those collapsable carts with very wide wheels for the beach....my wife went with a gfriend this week and the cart works great...from Dick's (about $100).....and you can put any cooler you want in it....LOL
