Today is a solemn day for many of us in the states and really for the entire world community.  To me its no surprise that many of our finest young people have chosen to make the military their career.  Much as my earliest memories are of JFK's assassination and Vietnam theirs is of 9/11 and the senseless loss of innocent life on that day.

 

I had a cool thing happen to me at my club.  I went in to the locker room through the pro shop. My custom on this day is to wear my Navy Dad tee shirt so I had it on.  I changed into suitable golfing attire and was heading out to the range when the Pro and GM stopped me.  They ordered me to, "Get back to your locker and put that tee shirt on!"

 

God bless all those who serve to keep the peace.

 

So here's to MCleo, John and the rest of you who have served regardless of branch or allied nation.  Cheers!
