Garage Sale or Thrift Store Finds

So one of my favorite things to do is occasionally cruise the thrift stores and garage sales for golf gear. Initially it was just clubs and playing gear to find and flip on craigslist.

You would be amazed at what you can find. Last club find was a 588 60* and a 58* Vokey for $4 total. Not ever day is like that, but a few are.

 

This morning I made a run and found some fun stuff.

99¢ for a box of 6 plastic ball cube display cases (nice for you guys collecting balls, or that big $$$ Ping ball)

2 Wedge LS Veri-cool Mock necks @ $3.49 each (new with tags)

1 Grand Slam golf shirt Dry Knit, Kohl's tag still on it $4

1 Adidas wind vest, used, but in great shape, light lining with vent in back

1 Nike Golf clima-fit vest, new with tags $10

 

I never used to look for clothing there, but I have found Sunice jackets, Ashford vests, nice Polo Golf gear all at a couple bucks a pop.

Sweet Tommy Bahama silk shirt for $5

 

No always that good, but if you are bored and feel the need to shop, take a look.

Garage sale season, part 1, is coming up, and I think I'll definitely be cruising into a few of them to see if I can find some steals. I'll report back on anything wonderful that I find.

I found my 70's polyester powder blue pants (posted in the 70's thread) and a sleeveless wind jacket (both with tags) for $2.50 each

I'll probably be hitting a few tomorrow... my wife like to go on the weekends to look for antique dishes and bowls to replace the crap we have...

Thrift Stores, 70's golf pants, 8 pairs so far, all around 4-5 bucks!!! This weekend coming up, a new golf outfit will be displayed!!
