Awesome call with a lot of great information shared. Thanks Jamie @GolfSpy_APH for getting this arranged.
Another large turnout of members too, at one time I saw that there were 29 people on the call.

... Pretty impressive watching Hutchinson, Megatron and Sanders come on stage. Having the mascot flatten an obnoxious packers fan was icing on the cake.
I thought that the introduction ceremony for lack of a better term with Godell and the Lion's players and Eminem was a very cool thing for the people of Detroit and Lion's fans to have happen.
Sam, @chisag really hoping that the Bears get back to relevancy this year, as looking at schedules, I have them ahead of the Packers and Vikings next season.
Although, with the NFL injuries can play havoc with any predictions.

Not sure if anybody has a Motocaddy trolley AND a ghost bag but if so I would be interested to know if there is a way to mount the “easilock” Motocaddy pegs on the base of the ghost bag so this feature can be used
I do have the Ghost Bag, still waiting on the Motocaddy, but I mentioned in the Motocaddy thread I would be testing a few bags on the trolley.
Unsure if there may be a way to mount the pegs from the Motocaddy bag onto the Ghost Bag, but will look into that when everything comes together for the Motocaddy testing.

Good morning Spies on a record setting low temperature Motor City Community Call morning.
Awesome opportunities for the members here from Stix and Titleist Vokey thanks to the efforts of the MGS staff and these club manufacturers.
Looking forward to seeing the comments and reviews of those who are selected.
Warming up later today, and the NFL Draft is live from downtown Detroit later this evening.
Hopefully the city showcases itself well to those in attendance and watching it unfold on television.
Hope your day is the best it can be, that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans, and looking forward to seeing many on the community call later today.

Great color selections by the testers, I would be interested in any comments all of the testers would make related to the colors and how they interact with the sun on a bright, sunny summer day.
Too shiny? Too much glare? Just curious if they may actually interfere with vision and making the stroke.

I have a Garmin S62 and also use a Nikon Coolshot rangefinder.
For exact distances to pins, I find the rangefinder to be more accurate, and really just use my watch to get approximate distances where there may be some room for error on distance required for that particular shot.
I typically find them accurate to each other within 3 - 5 yards, with the rangefinder being more accurate rather than relying upon a GPS satellite.

I have a package coming from Pennsylvania on the 25th @rkj427 and @StrokerAce. Do you guys have the same? It’s coming USPS.
I have not received any shipping information at this time, and based upon the Motocaddy address shown on the order form, I would expect it to be shipped from California and not Pennsylvania.

Another full day of work before flying home from the Mitten. AA and Delta both have flights that arrive at ILM around midnight and it seems like I'm always on them. Including tonight. I'm gonna be pretty useless tomorrow. Fortunately I really don't have to do any work tomorrow.
Safe travels home, and I hope that you enjoyed some of your time in the Motor City area.

Good morning Spies on this cloudy and cold Michigan Wednesday.
@Northern Monkey and @sirchunksalot really hope that you are able to get all your issues sorted out sooner rather than later, and everything works out for the best.
For me the next few days at work hopefully will be spent "wrapping up" things I need to do before the 30th.
Weekend here looking to be good weather, so I plan to golf on Sunday, as I have volunteered to spend Saturday doing some things for the Leader Dogs organization.
Hope your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.

As informed forum followers know , tester announcements are now done after the testing pool is committed to the test and requirements are met to start moving forward to having the product ordered. This test required a driver fitting as part of the agreement each tester accepted, as is fitting for something of this level. (see what I did there?)
Details will assuredly be forthcoming but what happened at my driver fitting was ...
... just know that I cannot wait for "the unboxing," for "the initial impressions" and for "the real testing" to begin!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the update Derek, as I knew you had a recent fitting and you mentioned that you were more than happy with the process and results in another thread here.
Looking forward to reading all of the comments you have about the whole process, unboxing, and initial results before seeing it in action myself in May.

My 70 year old mother has decided that she wants to take up golf and I need to get her a set of clubs. Are there any decent starter sets for women out there for around $500?
Quick check at www.carlsgolfland.com shows these Callaway sets for woman.
Both well within your mentioned budget.

Just a FYI related to the rain cover.
I purchased a Katana version and it has the nylon/denier material rain hood similar to the Oreo bag.
This material is typically used in luggage, or other light weight articles one would use to move or transport items in, and is very durable and weather proof.

Morning all,
Congrats to all the testers announced. Should be a good follow.
Off to drop my car off. 5 years old 1 payment left and the transmission is crying for help. The drain and fill did nothing to help. So it will be more serious now. Hoping it’s a code issue with a computer fix or an easily replaceable part or two. Either way it won’t be an inexpensive fix.Tom, don't know what model year or type of vehicle you have, but many of the OEM's have "Powertrain Warranty Coverage" where it covers major assemblies/components for issues such as this. The OEM's all have varying months and mileages they cover, some may be 6 years, 100,000 miles, others 5 years and 60,000 miles, so you may want to check that availability to save yourself some money.

Congratulations to this great diverse group of testers.
Looking forward to the comments and reviews to see how this Callaway line-up may improve your "off the tee" game.

Good morning Spies on this 4th out of 5 Tuesdays in the month of April.
@sirchunksalot hope they get your car issue resolved quickly Jason. When the lights pop up and off, usually an electrical gremlin of some sorts is the cause.
Normal work day for me today, as Tuesdays are what I call "data pull day" to prepare for later in the week meetings.
Weather outlook here for mid week is getting colder, with the possibility of record low temperatures for Wednesday.
Make your day the best it can be, and hopefully something enjoyable is in your plans.

What comes into play with the grips being "offset" certain degrees, as well as offering some with standard grips.
How do you make a determination as to which one would best for a certain player?

Played yesterday early afternoon at a local course that typically allows me to play many clubs less than a driver off the tee on many of the holes, due to layout of the holes and course.
Was sunny, very windy and about 50 degrees, so perfect golf weather in April in the Midwest.
Ended up behind a foursome that must have written the book on both slow play and lack of common courtesy. Best thing is they only played 9 holes, so we played the front in 2 1/2 hours, and the back in under 1 1/2 hour.
Had an 80, 40 each side, par is 73 (36/37), and did not attempt to hit many greens in regulation on the front 9, as the slow play ahead of us allowed me to hit multiple wedge shots into each green, and it was good to practice anyways.
View of hole 3, short par 3 dead into the wind.
View looking to the north end of the course showing how many others braved the colder elements to play.
Typical par 4 layout, green here is left of the trees lining the fairway, best option something about 180 - 200 yards off the tee, then left with a short iron or wedge into the green.
The epitome of slow play. He played the white tees, and here he was playing his 3rd shot on this hole. Didn't matter to them that they were holding up the whole course behind them.
Another short par 4 on the back, green slightly left behind the trees on the left, again 180 - 200 yards off the tee, and a short club into the green.
A tributary of the Clinton River runs through this course. This course is very low laying, and the water level is up slightly with the rain we have had this spring.
If/when we get heavy rains during the summer months, this area generally is flooded, and the course not playable.
Still a cool picture with the Weeping Willow trees and the blue skies.

We only received the order information very early last week. I would reasonably expect them to take about another week to package everything up, and then get them shipped.
Possibly we may get some shipping information this week.
And as mentioned by @TJ Hall it will be well worth the wait.

Good morning Spies on another frosty Friday morning in the Motor City.
Warming up later, but rain also moving in as well. Sunday round scheduled and weather outlook looks good for that.
Jason, @sirchunksalot be sure to take the advice of @Northern Monkey, typically "bad gas" repairs are out of pocket for the vehicle owner/operator, and you will either need to see if station reimburses you, or possibly your insurance company.
Hope that your day is the best that it can be, that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
