I'm still enjoying the S70. So much so, that I traded in my Shotscope V3 this week. Not having to change watches at the course, then sync and edit the round when I get home is just too convenient for me to go back at this point.

I shot a 2 over 37 on our last night of league. After 24 weeks I averaged 38.3 per 9 which is about 2 strokes better than my typical average. It's been a great year!

Danny, I am an old guy, 71, with some large hands and lots of arthritis that discovered these grips a while ago. My first grips tried from Jumbo Max were the Ultralights. Like you, my first early reviews were terrible. I did buy several single sizes to see which one I would like the best and settled on the XS. I found that the grips will slip when a little wet, even from sweat. It was so bad that I switched back to my Golf Pride CP2 Jumbos after 4 rounds. The extra size seemed to make me handy also. I wrote this off as a bad investment and an experiment that didn’t work. A few years later after Jumbo Max came out with the JMX Zen Lite and my hands and ability to practice wasn’t getting any better, I decided to give them another go. Here I settled on the small size which is slightly larger than the CP2 Jumbo’s I have been using for years, but almost half the weight. I am happy to say that I have found a winner for me. Though the grips felt a little strange at first, because it has 2 seams on the sides of the grip, instead of one on the underside of the grip as many grips do, including the JMX Ultralight and Tour series. They are a little on the firm side, but they have helped my practice time and I’ve seen an overall improvement in all aspects of my game, except my putting. But that’s a story for another day meant for the YIPS-Challenged. Overall I say that these are definitely worth a try and while they may not help everyone, I really think they are worth a shot.
I have never heard of the JMX Zen Lite grips, I'll have to check them out.

This year has been the best most consistant golf I have ever played, so I am very happy with my swing. That being said, I am always looking for things in my swing that I can improve. I don't imagine that will ever change.

I made a similar swich earlier this season. I went from a 9* Cobra Speedzone turned up to 10.5* to a 12* Cobra LTDx turned down to 10.5*. It has really improved my left misses. I am still fully capable of yanking one OB left, but it is much less likely with this setup.

My ball striking was a little off last night, I was only 1/9 GIR. I did manage to chip and putt well enough to scratch out a 3 over 38 and win my league match by a stroke though.

I bought two of these to try a couple of years ago. I didn't mind it on the driver, but I threw one on my 9 iron and absolutley hated it. It really seemed to changed the feel of my irons which I was not a fan of. Granted, I did not give them much of a chance. I still have them, maybe I should give them another go this offseason as the snap hook left is definitely my miss.

I generally play a mid tier ball like the Q Star Tours or OnCore Elixr. As far as premium balls go, I really like the Chromesoft Truvis yellow. I play yellow balls because I have trouble picking up white balls when they are in the air. The yellow and black contrast of the Truvis really stands out to me making them easy even easier to follow.

Congrats to the testers, I look forward to following along.

I have been checking out some of the health monitoring features of the watch even though I'm mainly interested in the golf features. While looking at my heart rate report from the other day I noticed that my heart rate was elevated during my entire league match Tuesday night. It was not a very close match and was very casual, so I was surprised to see that data.
Ever since I saw this heartrate data during my round, I was curious what my heartrate would be during a true competitive round. Yesterday was the perfect day as I played a very low stress scramble round in the morning with my Dad and his buddies, then played a match play round in the club championship round in the afternoon. It looks like my average heartrate while not playing golf is right around 85 bpm. During my morning round that number jumped to 105 bmp and during the match play round it was 125 bpm. I am not surprised by that last number at all, as I was extremely nervous the entire round. I just could not get calmed down during the match. I ended up winning the match and shooting one of the best rounds of my life, so maybe I need the nerves to stay focused.

I shot a 72 yesterday while beating our defending club champion in this years club championship. I was super nervous the entire round, I can't believe I shot such a great round. I didn't close him out until #17, so we went ahead and played 18 to finish the round.

I shoot the flag with my rangefinder on every shot down to 30 yards. I'm sure I could do with out it 90% of the time, but it's reasuring to know that I have the correct number before I hit.

After reading the other reviews and reader feedback, it has become obvious that I've never owned a smartwatch, haha. Looks like I was way too impressed with stuff that is basically everywhere else.

Not every golfer goes with the latest. And being perfectly frank, many of us on here (me included) are probably way too nerdy anyway LOL. Everyone has different starting points. Now that MGS is featuring the Forum reviews more prominently on the main website, I think the reach of these reviews will attract a broader range of folks.
@MattWillGolf is right, everyone's experience will be different. I feel like that is the best part of having multiple people review things at the same time.

My Tuesday night mens league and our Thursday night couples league covers 85% of our couples membership. I'll probably be right around the break even point as I have not played a lot of weekend rounds at this course this year.

I got #13 last night which is one of the easier holes at my home course. I can't believe it took basically the whole season to get that one. I also had my best look of the year on #12, a 9 footer below the cup that I left a few inches short dead center of the cup. I just have 2 more holes to get this year, but they are both tough ones.

I have only tried the Skechers Twist Fit system, which has failed on both pair of shoes I had. I am assuming Twist Fit is their take on BOA, so maybe the official BOA is a more durable system?

I was 1 over through 16 when I closed out my opponent in the club championship final! I ended up beating the 3 guys that have combined to win the club championship for the past 10 years, and could not be more proud.
