Very very tempting.

This has been a regular thought of mine through the year. That time went wayyyyy too quickly.

Since this is the saloon, I'm getting ready to belly up to the proverbial MGS bar, with a real grilled cheese and a nice scotch. How's everyone doing?

I am interested in getting these shafts, I’ve always enjoyed the feel of standard dg shafts except when I got to my long irons and they felt too heavy. The idea of these sounds like a perfect fit but I think they would be more popular if they worked as advertised. How does the swing weight feel from top to bottom? Is there any additional work needed during installation? I.e adding tip weights or butt weights
Im looking at the white version if it makes a difference and I currently game modus 120, I’m just finding I hit my wedges with s400 very well and what that feel in my scoring clubs. Any advice or review of them is appreciated.
Your game is far better than mine but I'll toss my pennies in, take what you will. Irons are my bread and butter, and I like hitting irons.
I've been playing the original AMTs for 3 or 4 years now--they are now sold as AMT White (this does make a difference, white will play most like vanilla DG, black and red are designed to play differently). My AMTs came straight from the Wilson custom shop, and swing weights are all similar. IDK what they did to keep swing weight in line, so I can't help you there. But I do prefer to play Dynamic Gold, and to me, AMT White will fit the bill there.
However I have a love/hate going from mid-iron to long iron. While it (4 iron/5 iron) still plays like a DG, I find that it loads a little easier than the rest of the set and comes out a little whippy--which doesn't work well for me. I can be much more aggressive with the heavier and shorter clubs and hit varying shots. I find that option to decrease with the lighter shafts; as I have to be more deliberate with my delivery.
TL/DR: Ball flight and playability is in line with Dynamic Gold. Feel is mostly in line with Dynamic Gold--long irons maybe a problem. But the lighter weight in the long irons is easier to swing late in the round.

I was once pretty active here. I went through some life transitions and just kind of moved away from social media.
Since my last involvement with mygolfspy I’ve retired from the military and moved from Hawaii to South Carolina. I now live on a golf course and play as much as my body will allow. I’m not as good as I once was but I am as good once as I ever was .
current set up:
Miura MB 502 Irons, Ping G400 Driver, Cobra F7 3 Wood, Mizuno Putter and Wedges.
Welcome back to the fray, Tim! Glad to see all is well!

Never thought I would utter these words, but I've got a gently used Bettinardi on the way! @Jmikecpa I'm one putter closer to catching you

When I opened this thread today it took me to posts from May 25th. It’s hard to believe I haven’t contributed to the thread in almost 5 months. But my return brings something worthy.
I was fit for these a the fitting day at my course a few weeks ago. I had to hit them multiple times that day as I couldn’t believe I could hit a players CB so well. But yet shot after shot after shot, went right where I was aimed. Granted probably 5-8 yards shorter than my T350, but the most amazing sound and feel I’ve experienced from an iron.
I paired it with the Recoil Dart shafts and I think that adds an even softer yet solid feel at impact.
The comparison sole and address pics are to my T350 6 iron
Wish I could like this more than once. But don't tell people how good these are, I am still trying to source a lefty set before Wilson brings out the refresh!

2-8 per event. The number depends on the event. 2 have to go to pga tour members not in the field, 2 have to go to kf tour members in the top 25 but not the leader. The rest are up to the sponsor to give out to celebrities, local stars, up and rushing stars see Spieth, morikawa, zalatoris, Koepka, hovland, Finau as examples of up and coming stars. These remaining ones are where the sponsors use them to get someone in who will draw eyes to the event. As has been mentioned these open exemptions aren’t taking anyone’s spot away from playing on the tour.
anyone upset two gloves Tommy Gainey had a sponsors exemption into the Shriners?
I was shocked to see old two gloves was still playing.

Played white tees, front 9 twice. CH of 18 on the front. Shot a 95, boils down to a 77. Certainly not my best but had 6 net birds in the mix. Jekyll and Hyde makes an appearance.

USA lost another Ryder Cup on European soil and were on the last day to play the Match Play semi-finals round. As a reminder, you still can post the score online on Monday, but the round must be played this week and before the end of the day today.
We have seven golfers who have yet to post a score. Here's the list I have:
@LinksgolfFever (you have a couple of rounds in the week 26 VCT that could count, just designate one if you wish)
@Pinetree (substitute)
From my records, the rest of you have submitted matches for this week. As a reminder, I'm heading out in about 10 minutes and will be out of town until mid-Monday. I'll be away from my PC and unable to input scores and update match results until I return.
Good luck all and I can't wait until I get home to see what happens!
Just got in from the course. I'll have mine posted this evening.
