downlowkey
Wasn't intentional, both of these started 21 hours ago and I hadn't seen anything up before I posted mine. I did a quick search before I posted mine and thought I was safe No big deal Curly, it happens regularly around here with new threads started in quick succession. I'm guessing GolfSpy Rob (that still feels weird CG2) or GolfSpy STUDque will likely merge both of the recent Kirkland 4-piece threads with the main one from last year. chisag
... Thanks for the Heads Up! I just bought 4 dozen TP5x with the buy 3 and get 1 free deal that will last me this season but the Kirkland Signatures are my sons favorite balls. I enjoy golf too much to take the chance. Thanks though. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I bought some from the first batch and also some from the second batch. I can't tell any difference. I just bought 2 doz from this batch and the new 3-piece; will compare to the first batch. I really don't think I can tell any difference in the 4-piece balls; I liked them, especially for the price. I actually hope the new 3-piece ball is good and that ball will stick around for awhile. I wanted to try the 3-pc ball. I still have 4 dz of the originals though. Guess that will have to do. ThatKyle
I played with them all last season and liked them enough to stock up for all of 2018 when they last went on sale in the fall. If you're not scratch or better, I don't think you'll really notice a massive enough difference between them and a Pro-V. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk I think it's the way I cut it. I used an air compressor dye grinder wheel. I don't care what your index, the Kirkland Signature is equal in performance to the ProV1. I played with a mini tour player in Orlando that said he found a ball or two that felt different than others in the 2 dozen he was given. He loved the balls performance but said he would not trust it in a tournament. I remember my first 2 dozen and the KS ball I tested against my gamers was clickier and firmer than I expected. It turned out I picked out the 1 ball out of my 2 dozen that was harder feeling than all the others. So there may be a consistency issue as far as feel, which may explain the insanely low price, but it is a potential trade off I am willing to make for such an excellent performing urethane covered ball at $15 a dozen. ThatKyle
Totally agree. Unless you're playing at that level of the guy you ran into and/or just have enough cash to blow on ProV's, the trade-off is 100% worth the savings.
