EasyPutter
I prefer the wrap around polarized sunglasses for driving and they fit so well that trying to sneak a finger underneath to rub an eye is sufficient when they are about a year or two old for the frame to snap like that. $10 - $20 and a new pair is the best solution - currently the dark blue mirror daytime pair is rimless and made by Stihl from Northern Tool, and the yellow nighttime pair is 3M also rimless from Lowes. And if these break the same way, that frame will just fall apart instead of poking me in the forehead as my first clue they snapped. sirchunksalot, GolfSpy_SHARK, Rob Person and 2 others 5 Quote Derek Verified Hack, ~21 handicap Golf for exercise and peace of mind. Jmikecpa
Anyone ever have to go back to a car dealer and have them cancel a loan and rewrite it? First for me today but after a real good read of the documents it was in both our interests to do so. From my perspective nothing really changed other than all the references to my wife on the agreement were removed. The sales manager was not happy when we came back and asked them to be removed from the loan. He tried to give many excuses, and I simply stood up, took the paperwork and walked into the GMs office 2 doors down. I asked him to correct it or he can take the keys back. He made 3 calls, and in 30 minutes we had a new loan agreement. And our payment dropped by 60 bucks too! Rob Person
Random but golf related. One of the players I met at the starter hole today looked really familiar, as did the name. Couldn't place him at first. Called my buddy from work and asked if he knew someone named John Shank. My friend went ecstatic mode. Started talking all sorts of hype about a fishing trip he did last year in Texas. Turns out it's the same John Shank from "LoneStar Fly Fishing" When I saw him at the turn I talked to him a minute, asked him how he liked the course, etc. Guy is super nice, and offered to snap a photo together to send to my buddy. Not from me, but from him!! Then he handed me a sleeve of his vice balls with his logo on them. sirchunksalot
Ran around with the wife today and went to look at cabinets, we didn't purchase anything but did get a price list to compare products. Went to Ross and picked up a Bobby Jones polo because I have a problem...I like buying golf shirts. Got home and since it cooled off with some cloud cover I decided to get out and mow. I got stung in the hand by a yellow jacket and it still stings an hour later. When I was almost finished, the push mower started sputtering and still has plenty of gas in it. I checked the air filter and oil and they were still good, I'm wondering if it overheated or if the plug is going out. Guess I'll have to do some troubleshooting. Definitely points to something in the jet, or possibly a plug that's fouling when getting heated up too much. Is gas/oil premix needed or just gas?
