Shankster
Since I started on the whole get fit for 18 thing (by fit I mean fitting into a size M Polo) I've noticed a few things. One, I'm full of energy almost all day, “the kids†at work can't keep up with me. Two, I've increased my mobility, flexibility, and power. Three, I hit the golf ball a long ways further than I was last year. I'm not doing anything involving weights, all Bodyweight stuff. Popular Post STUDque
Today was my last day at my current job. Start something new on Monday. It's bittersweet because there was nothing wrong where I was but the new opportunity is just that good. Everyone on the team had lots of nice things to say and I'm actually going to miss them after working together for the past 3 years. Onward and upward. The new position will be the same industry, same discipline, new platform, new requirements, and should blaze a path to a big time position. I'm excited but also nervous because I feel the need to prove my worth jumping into this team. Happy happy happy. Jmikecpa
On my way to Philly today from the Catskills for a memorial service (not the happy part) I passed through the Pocono Mountains. Stopped at a place where my Dad built most of the homes in the area while I worked for him. Brought back a lot of food memories and I may have had a good cry, but overall happy to see what we built is still there. Turning wrenches and pounding nails gave me a work ethic that I could never replace and a home I could have gone back to.
