We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris...next to the Ritz.

It was great! 22 of us...5 families.

Couldn't get a hall pass for golf this time but would like to try one of the courses... although it seems it would be hard with the constant wind!

Have fun in May!!

Nah, the winds make it fun.. Besides its a constant wind so aim a little left or right of your target depending on which way its blowing and fire away. Did you hit baby beach or De Palm island? How about the Kukoo Kunuku party bus? I stay in the low rise section. Love that island, even though about buying a house there. It's my happy place 😁

My son just accepted a job offer with a new company. He had two on the table - to his credit he thought through the pluses and minuses of each offer (held off the first one - which he didn't take for almost a week). The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!  I'm very proud of him

would love to try the golf there... I agree; the wind would be fun... esp downwind !!

Didn't make it to baby beach but we did dePalm island with the kids (12 of them) and also did the Jolly Pirates ship with the snorkeling and rope swing.  Kids did the boat rides at Palm beach.  Since we had kids with us we didn't do the party bus but that looked like a lot of fun.  Maybe next time.... Had some fantastic dutch pancakes and delicious italian.

The beaches were incredible and we stopped at the natural bridge on our way to the airport.  That was very cool and I see why everyone stays on the leeward side of the island!  The waves and rocks there are super dangerous.

would love to try the midrises ... eagle beach looked awesome!

Was in the rant thread the other day posting about a test, posting in the happy thread may be a give away then. I passed the test and so did the other 7 in my class. First test down and that's a relief the next few tests are a little more in my wheel house. One test down six more to go.

Just found out that I will be at NASDAQ on Tuesday for the closing bell ceremony for my company. Never had a chance to do this before and doubt I will again so for the finance geek in me this is pretty cool.

That is pretty cool no matter finance geek or not

Pretty cool experience. Always interesting to hear the things people get to do as a “perk” associated with where they work.

My favorite from my company is being part of an audience that generally gets to hear politicians speak about non Political things. Also have had the opportunity to be in a limited audience to hear the current and past president speak.

That is a fun one but looking forward to opening the Rees Jones course at the resort next spring.  That is the best perk that I have in not only getting to play it but also working on the design and construction of the course.

Many years ago went to a seminar and the late Barbara Bush was a speaker, her husband the ex-president was also a speaker. She was not the lead or keynote but she was awesome!

Great lady!

Cleared to resume normal activity. 6 more weeks of PT, exercise and golf as much as I can stand. I guess winter held on just for me to heal. Going to be a great year.

Congrats Alan!  Hoping for great things for you this year...
