Our club sent out an email about a complimentary Titleist ball fitting next week. So I signed up. They said bring driver, 7 iron, wedge for a 50 yard shot and putter. It should be fun - I will let you know how it goes.

SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft

Ping G410 7, 9 wood  Alta 65 R flex

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex  

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

We hosted one a couple months ago. It was very well done and several playeds said it was the best demo/fitting they have been to.

 

They'll put you on trackman with each of those clubs and show you how each perform with each ball.

I was just about to post that video. I have a friend who wasted an original PING Anser by breaking it on a 300+ yard drive. That's further than my driver goes😣

That's pretty impressive - I used to have a Ram mallet putter that I could mash off the tee - that was way back in the persimmon/balata day's. When I flushed it I was longer than my driver - I bet that thing had a negative MOI outside the sweet spot though.

When I was a kid my buddies and I played this tiny course that had a hole than was maybe 50yds. We always would try to putt the hole- those Nebraska muni fairways were like bowling lanes in the drought summer. Then once I "accidentally" caught one on the up, and it must've flown 200yds. Buzzed a few guys' towers going through two other fairways. We hurried off the hole and laid low the rest of the round- thought we'd gotten away with it, until an older gent returned my ball while we were having cokes in the clubhouse. I never tried that one again...
