I hope they do as well, but the last great QB they drafted has been never. They’ve had good QB’s.

If he is still available at pick #9, the rumor mill and draft pundits have Da Bearz taking Odunze.

 I would say that it’s about a toss-up whether Joe Alt will still be available at #9.

What would you think of your Bears trading pick #9 (and maybe pick #75) to Buffalo for picks #28, 60 and Buffalo’s 2025 first round pick?

... When you have a Top 10 pick and a need that the best players on the board can fill, I don't think you trade down unless you have someone graded almost as high as your top pick. I can see trading down a few spots if they think Byron Murphy will be available and they have him rated as high or higher than the Edge Rushers available. But #9 should be a difference maker and if their top choice is available I wouldn't trade down. Bears are no longer rebuilding so extra picks aren't as important as a difference maker right now.

I thought that the introduction ceremony for lack of a better term with Godell and the Lion's players and Eminem was a very cool thing for the people of Detroit and Lion's fans to have happen.

Sam, @chisag really hoping that the Bears get back to relevancy this year, as looking at schedules, I have them ahead of the Packers and Vikings next season.

Although, with the NFL injuries can play havoc with any predictions.

As usual, the Falcons just wasted their 1st round pick. Nothing against Penix, but they sure could have used someone at another position. I won't loose any sleep tonight over this.

Or given that they already have London, Pitts, and Bijan, improve any other part of the team (Defense, O-Line, etc.)

I really don’t get it.  Falcons need defensive help and a guy that plays every down.  I get that Cousins may not be 100% to start the season but the falcons aren’t  doing themselves any favors.  Is it possible they trade Penix?

... It is the over reaching that can kill ya, and it happens all the time with QB's. When there are many much higher rated players on the board, I think you have to take them. I have heard some successful GM's basically say they would take a player of need over a higher graded player if they were close. Like 2 or 3 players close. But never reach for a position of need when some higher graded difference makers are available. 

... Again, Bagent has the potential to start and was undrafted. If I were a GM and didn't have a young star at QB already, I would draft any I thought had potential in later rounds and also bring a bunch of undrafted QB's to camp. There will always be someone that slips under the radar.
