Golf Lesson booking app concept? (like Supreme Golf)

I’m working on some market research for a startup idea of mine that’s aimed at simplifying booking a golf lesson…think Supreme Golf but for lessons instead of tee times. Would appreciate any feedback on the idea in general, and if you have 1-2 mins to fill out the survey to help grow the game that would be awesome!!

Doesn’t make much sense to me. Most teachers already have there own online booking systems or even choose not to have one.

the entire idea of systems like golfnow, etc is that a golfer can play a random course at a moments notice. That model isn’t really something that transfers over to getting lessons

I’m with jlukes and doubt there’s a market for it. 
 

Skillest is pretty well established for something like finding an online instructor in similar ways to finding a tee time on golfnow. So if you are looking to do something more online with that you will have to find something that skillest isn’t doing that people want/need them find instructors who are willing to use the app to offer booking of lessons

I agree with Ricky Bobby. If you haven't, check out Skillest. It asks some questions, and helps you find pros based on your answers. If you can find something to compete with that, and provide something extra you may have something.

If your business can aid in determining if the Pro giving the lesson is actually good. It would be a success.

My experience is that most lesson givers don’t improve golfers much if ask yourself if lessons has dropped your handicap or any of the people you play with.

While I understand you point,  that success factor would largely be dependent on how much commitment the student put into applying what was learned in the lessons.  Success in golf isn’t an overnight type of thing.

You beat me to it. If a student doesn’t practice or follow up with the instructor the chances they improve is low. That’s not the instructors fault.
