When (if ever) to switch back from sgi

So currently game Cleveland launcher hb irons love the clubs been shooting in 80s this season so no complaints there, question comes in at what point do I switch back to my 716ap1? Have noticed dispersions with the launchers to be wider which has me in between clubs a lot…. Thoughts?

That’s a personal decision and nobody can say when a person should switch from one style of club to another. Also it could be the shaft that’s affecting a persons results as much as the head if the person want fit for their clubs

FWIW I'm currently just under a 3 index and play Cleveland Launch CBX irons from a few years back.  I have no plans to switch to anything less forgiving.

If your gaps are too big I would recommend working on choking down an inch and taking a smooth swing.  Takes a few yds off.  Then work on choking down an inch and taking a 3/4 swing.  Takes a few yds more off.  Then you'll end up with 3 "stock" yardages for each club.

If you mean dispersion (left right) then going less forgiving isn't going to help.  But going from off the rack to fit clubs might.
