GolfSpy_APH
Most here are 3 wheel options, however there are several 4 wheel options to check out. https://mygolfspy.com/best-golf-push-cart-2022/ I am a clicgear fan, but again 3 wheels. Middler
^^ That's probably the best resource to make your decision. I have the BagBoy Triswivel II and highly recommend it. I wasn't sure what to make of the swiveling front wheel, but now that I've used one for several years - it's great. I would think a 4 wheeler would be less maneuverable, but someone else might chime in. I know lots of people with Clicgear carts, and they're solid high quality too, worth the premium cost. I don't know anything about Rovic, but MGS has never steered me wrong - never. Carts are worth what you pay for them IME, I wouldn't go cheap if you intend to use it often. sirchunksalot and cksurfdude 2 Quote Titleist TSR2 11° HZRDUS Red CB 50 6.0 w Lamkin UTx Midsize Titleist TSR2 16.5º HZRDUS Red 60 CB 6.0 & TSR2 21º HZRDUS Black 4G 70 6.0 w Lamkin UTx Midsize Mizuno JPX923 HMP 4-GW, T22 54.12WS, T22 58.04DC w Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Midsize LAB DF3 w Accra Maxfli Tour & ProV1 Ping Pioneer - MGI Zip Navigator AT Payntr X 001 F (mesh), Payntr X 005 F, Ecco Biom C4
Golf2Much
I've had a Rovic RV1S Golf Push Cart for about a year and half. It's a three wheel cart with an enabled swiveling front wheel for maneuverability. I like the folded compact size and the ease of getting it around on the course. Folding it and opening it up can be a little challenge at first, but it gets much easier the more you do it. Another positive is the long list of accessories that Clicgear has for its push carts. I purchased the larger cup holder (XL), umbrella angle adjuster, steering knob, spacer and wheel covers. There are a host of accessories to make you walking and golfing experience even better. With a retail of $259, it falls in the middle of the push cart price range. The Rovic is a great little push cart and I would recommend it highly! cksurfdude 1 Quote Ping G430 Max driver 10.5 degrees with an Alta Quick45 gram senior shaft Callaway Epic 3 wood, Project X Evenflow Green 45 gram senior shaft Callaway GBB Epic Heavenwood, with a Mitsubishi Diamana 50 gram senior shaft Ping G 20.5 degree 7 wood, with a stock Alta 65 gram senior shaft Ping G 26 degree hybrid, stock Alta 65 gram senior shaft Callaway Paradym X irons, 7-AW with Aldila Ascent Blue 50 graphite shafts Edison wedges: 50, 55 and 60 degree, KBS Tour Graphite A flex shafts Putters: L.A.B. GolfSpy TCB
Highly recommend the clicgear 4.0. I love it. But as said above, it is a 3 wheel cart. WaffleHouseTour
I’ve also got the BagBoy Quad XL and really like it. It folds up pretty compact. (The store actually let me take it out and put it in my truck to see…) I went w the four wheeler because I am often on side hills, and it’s not going to turn and go down on its own. Just thought it was more stable. What I have come to reallly like is the little pouch that hangs under the “handle bar” where I can shove stuff like balls, a pull over, etc; and the “dashboard” on top that flips open to hold extra scorecards, tees, etc. And of course the all important drink holder. it folds up small enough that they sell a bag you can put it in - which I highly recommend. Keep those grass clippings from spreading all over the trunk of your car. tdroma98, cksurfdude and dbdors 3 Quote Walking ahead of my BagBoy QuadXL w Alphard eWheels Driver: Callaway Mavrik SubZero 9* Neutral w stock Evenflow Riptide R flex shaft 3W Titelist TS2 15* Draw w Tensei Blue R flex 3H, 4H Cobra One Length F9 Speedback hybrids (1”short) w Fujikura Atmos R flex shaft 5I-GW Cobra Forged TEC Black One Length (1”short, 2* flat) KBS 90 R flex shafts 56, 60 Cobra King MIM One Length Black (1” short) KBS HiRev2.0 125 S flex shafts ER7 or Scotty Futura X - 35” OnCore Elixr (lemon or lime)

I ended up buying the electric version of the Wishbone (I think it's called NEO). It is bulky and heavy, similar to Mottocaddy, but my wife insisted in getting a motorized version. I tried the Wishbone One at a local pro shop and while it is very light (easy on the back when loading/unloading) I think it's not as compact as the Clicgear, so it comes down to the size of your trunk. Might have been a supply chain thing but from their website just ordered parts for my Clicgear 3.5+ and received them about 1 week from order date with shipping across the country. Long wear on the Clicgear so far without issues and the parts I ordered were to get the order up to free shipping for the wheels cover to keep the trunk neat after playing a round when wheels cannot be cleaned adequately packing up. I don't immediately need the parts and they are for what looks like might need repair in the next year or two... Having spares on-hand is something intrinsic to my sailing experience. Ken C
Know this thread is OBE by now but wanted to weigh in with kudos to Bag Boy. As mentioned above they are great about having spare part to send if you need one. I've had the original quad 4 wheel for a while now for close to 10 years (and play easily in excess of 100 rounds a year, nice to be retired). Outstanding cart if you are looking for a 4 wheeler. Anyway brake cable finally snapped this past week so I called Bag Boy for a replacement. Unfortunately due to the age they did not have any replacements available. However, they did hook me up with a new cart at a decent price (less than I could get it locally/online). cksurfdude and GolfSpy_APH
golferguy2727
Late to the discussion… I think I’ve had every mass market domestic model available. But I’m often interested in engineering and cool design so currently have some options that are rarely mentioned. First is the Walker trolley. A cool story and a really interesting cart. Total retro vibe that gets endless interest when I use it - and when matched up with a retro bag - vintage cool. But the engineering is sneaky cool as well - it’s worth a look even though it costs more than most competitors. Superb support and the respond to comments and suggestions faster than most. Next - last year i saw an article about push carts in a UK golf magazine. Having lived in Ireland and played throughout Europe, push carts are far more common than here in North America, so opinions from that part of the world on the topic I are usually interesting. In that article I saw this funky new model called Kaddey. Cool, quirky, and ridiculously functional, it straps to your bag and easily allows the cart and bag combo to be conveniently stored in your trunk as a single unit. Wheels pop off, frame folds and amazingly compact solutions for the trunk slammers amongst us. In use it is also crazy good - two are helped, tilt design, it has crazy good balance and is far easier to push than most similar rickshaw type carts. A little Expensive but again, gets tons of interest when I used it . Just sharing an alternative view for those with a quirky inclination or who favours some cool engineering. cksurfdude 1 Quote Titleist T300 (2022) 5-PW, W48, W53 plus Taylormade Full Face 56 SW Current driver Titleist TSi3 Hybrids Titleist 818 19 H2 23 H2 Gamer Putter Nike Method Matters B1-07 Ball Titleist Tour Speed / Taylormade Tour Response Bag is Titleist Linksmaster Pushcart is Kaddey Rangefinder is Voice Caddie SL2 Shotscope club tags
AzRoger
I've also gone through my share of push carts over the years, all of the 3-wheel type. Not impressed at all with ClicGear, seemed like I had to replace just about everything on it over a 3 year period. The aluminum round bar connected to each wheel broke on each wheel (at different times), sucks when it happens when you're a long way from the clubhouse, the wheel folds up making the cart inoperable. Have a Sun Mountain, maybe the best rolling cart but their brake design is terrible, the brake cable is under stress when the brake is disengaged, which is about 99% of the time, and the cable will eventually break, had to replace mine 3 times, it's now my spare cart. My latest and favorite is a Caddytek, rolls nice, excellent storage compartments, and no issues after 3 years. I play about 3X/week on a desert style course so it is tough on carts, a lot of rough (non-grass) terrain to go over. MN_Hacker
I've got a BagBoy Quad XL at my lake place, and a BagBoy Nitron at home. I love them both, and I don't find the 4 wheels hinders agility at all. I use bags (Datrek) with Top Lok, and the no twist fit with no straps is something I can't live without now. IMO the bag "fitting" your cart is going to be the biggest factor, as all the to brand carts roll smooth and have great "consoles" Last year's sticks with no-strap goodness. Rosey31
I got a CaddyTek 11.5 for xmas last year and it's been great. I used to walk back in the day and carry my bag, but with torn PCL in my right knee it can cause pain to carry the extra weight. The cart works with either my large staff bag or my hybrid 5 stand bag. It's stable and easy to push.
