Good morning, Spies! I’m on the soccer field with my youngest daughter while my wife is at home with our other daughter, who is recovering from her wisdom teeth extraction. If you’re out playing today, have fun and keep it in the short stuff!

Lazy day today atching football. It'll be nice after the last 2 days being pretty hectic with a rounds of golf, 2 soccer games, and 2 football games.

Good morning Spies,

Busy morning after my cuppa or two. Walked Cooper then took him to Blessing of the pets after morning mass. My wife and I will hit the Erie Canal Trail on the mountain bike’s later. I will be grilling rib eyes and my wife will whip up some dirty garlic mashed potatoes and Cesar salad. Pumpkin pie for dessert. (Costco $5.99 )

The folks at Rock Bottom Golf have perfectly captured my last round.

Good Sunday morning Spies!

I survived the CEO's craft event! I did, however, twist my dang knee somehow when loading her up and getting out of there yesterday. No too bad but a good little tweak... Therefore, for services rendered yesterday but mostly for the knee, she has seen fit to grant me a day of rest! Unfortunately, don't want to hit the range and possibly do more damage...

Looks like you had a great time @Josh Parker and @Erin B. Wish the schedule would have allowed me to drive down and join in the fun.

Purpose of this thread? Well for me it's a way to say good morning to all of you, send a update on what's to come for the day and enjoy some of the more human type discussion we have here that doesn't always revolve around golf.

It's a pretty relaxed day here. About 5 or so hours of work (non forum) to do later in the day. Plan to get to the pro shop to maybe hit some of the new clubs, take the dogs for a walk and have various forum stuff to look after. 

Sun is shining, coffee number 3 is being poured so it is s good start to the day!

I freaking love for far this thread has come. Incredible.

It makes me happy to read about forum members gathering to play golf together. It was a highlight of my golf season to get a round in with @EasyPutter @bens197 and @Berg Ryman It really shows that @GolfSpy_APH and the entire forum staff have assembled a great community.

Ours used to be good. Then our Pro and Co Owner passed away unexpectant 2 years ago this December. They used to have good food and prizes in the event. Put it this way I did not buy any golf balls for 3 years. Now days the food is mostly crappy and the prizes stuff like cheap wine and I do not drink. They have always given out free beer and Bloody Mary's. Our original team they were fixing to break up because we won too much then I got hurt so that settled that for them. Our last team we got to winning too much and they put out ringer player back to the back tees. We still won 2 weeks straight after that. About that time me and the owner now got into it and he basically told me he did not care if me or any other member played in it because he did not make as much money. My membership is paid up until 2026 so it does not cost me to play in the leagues. So I do not do those anymore or the 9 and dines because that has gotten to be a drunk fest too. Now days mostly on Saturdays the wife and I play the little Par3 course where I am also a member. We have a loose group of players up there some play Hickory like I do up there and some do not. All are welcome. We also play it on 9& Dine nights too. No obnoxious loud drunks

I was going to add that the corporate outings are such long days, get there at 12 for a 1 o'clock shot gun, then 6 hour round dinner and prizes home at 11... too much for old grampa lol
