I like the ER8 the best.  

At this point it will take an unbelievable putter to get the LAB out of the bag though...

I've always been a fan of the ER2. Even though my LAB will never leave the bag, I'll still never get rid of my ER2B. I like what they're doing with the insert, the feel was my only complaint about my ER2, so I'm interested to hear some thoughts on it. Also, REALLY DIGGIN' the new aesthetics! The logo with those insert screws look so, so good... especially in black! However, I don't know how I feel about the new "Hot rod" font just yet, but I'm sure it's something that will grow on me.

All in all... these are beauts, Clark!

If I were to pick one, it would be the ER5 in chrome.  Looking forward to finding a demo in a local store. It will be interesting to see what the insert feels like.

ER5 black has me interested.  I used to game one a few years ago and liked it quite a bit, but wished the face was a bit softer.  Sounds like the new changes are marketed directly towards me.

Man - that ER5 in black is a GOOD looking putter. As echoed previously - it would take a hell of a putter to knock the DF2.1 from my bag, but....I mean, isn't competition the thing that brings the best out of everybody?  

 Everyone I know who's rolled an Evnroll never wants to roll anything else.  Maybe a little friendly competition is in order...

It is interesting how everyone has different opinions on looks.  I saw these a few weeks ago and didn't like the look.  The putter shapes are fine, but hate the scripted letters and don't like that they now have an insert.    I tried the DF3.0 (w/TPT shaft) today and IMO the shaft is too stiff and I just don't like the profile....I would keep the 2.1 over the 3.0.

What shaft was in the 3.0? As for the Evnroll, I just have always liked the curved-fang look - it's always the one I'm drawn to. I've never hit the milled version, so have nothing to compare it to in their line, but the idea of softer (without a distance penalty) is always welcome. 

I have the Accra shaft in the 2.1, for what it's worth, and find it to be a pretty delightful combination of dampening and stiffness.  Curious what the shaft LAB supplied HQ with for the 3.0 - my guess is the BGT Stability, as that's the one I've heard Sam mention a few times as being their favorite shaft.

You didn't read my post; it was supplied with the TPT shaft.  To me it was way too stiff. 

I am fine with the overall looks of the EvnRoll,  but about barfed when I saw the scripted name.

I think they will be asking if that is a "stock" configuration for the DF3.

I like the look of the ER5 as I'm a fan of the fang style putter and the screws in the back as a nice industrial touch to the look. I don't know how I feel about the new script in the bottom of the putter, I do like it on the grip and just don't know if it looks right on the sole. 

I meant to hit an Evnroll while I was at the PGA Superstore, but was too enamored with the L.A.B. and I rolled a Scotty (first time) and also the new Odyssey.

Oh, I know. Wasn’t directed at anyone. Just found it hysterical with all the serious LAB fans we have here. That may very well be the most influential tester opportunity we’ve had in some time. If not ever.

I would give the ER5 a shot just out of curiosity about the insert. I’m curious about the feel vs my EV5.3. The new script logo would be a definite no from me though.

In all fairness, I had done it before I joined but I agree, the testing and reviews really made an impact!  

I am just a fan of center shafted putters in general and have played the best with them.  It's always been more difficult finding left handed center shafted putters.

Still gaming the original ER5, i.e. solid billet milled. That's currently my preference on putters, although I'd be open to trying this new milled face insert.

In Dave's review he said it was a softer feel but he didn't think it affected his distance control at all.

Not sure about the new script logo but hey everyone's got to freshen up their looks every now and then!

Just put my ER6R in the bag on Friday and my putts were 5 less than my current average, with 3 birdies today. Has been in the closet for a couple years.

Is it just me or does the fact Evnroll has an insert seem weird? Not saying it is bad at all... but just I didn't expect that. I would love to see how they see their "Sweet Face Technology" perform in insert form.

I'm with you on this.  I'm not a fan of the looks of the insert, but I'll reserve judgment until I can try them.  The only thing I can think of is feel wasn't universally praised for some of the mallet shapes, so I'm wondering if this will help to produce a consistent feel across the different putter shapes.  I rolled a classic ER5 the other day and it felt significantly different from my ER2.

I like the “Neo” ER5 shape & aesthetic, but I’m not going to pony up another $400 to replace my EV5.3. I’ve already bought an ER2, and ER5B (I’ll never buy black from Evnroll again, it’s wears way too easily no matter how careful you are with it). Not sure I want a softer feel anyway…

I hear ya, I’m not looking to replace my 5.3 either, just sort of curious about how the insert feels. I’ve been rolling the EV5.3 long enough now that even when I roll my Odyssey White Hot RX it feels foreign to me. I’ve definitely become accustomed to the putter face with a firmer feel. I also have not noticed any wear with the black on my EV5.3 but I’ve read enough about it that I assume that it’s just a matter of time. We shall see.
