Undershooter
Played some of the windiest parkland golf I've ever seen yesterday on the back 9. Also one of the unluckiest back 9s. I seemed to horseshoe every putt and hit the lip on every green. On one of the Par 3's over the water I was hitting into the wind. Back pin with 144 to the stick and 130 to cover so I pull 8i(160 club). As soon as I made contact, the wind gusted and the ball went about 120 and bounced into the drink. I did almost hole my 3rd shot though, so there's that. The highlight of the back 9 was on the uphill 600 yd par 5 17th going straight into the wind. I pulled my driver left into the woods. Then hit a beautiful 1i low through a small hole in the trees to leave myself with 168 to the stick. Fallowed that up with a 5i(200 yard club) from said 168 to about 12 feet and FINALLY got a putt to drop. Today was a round of what should have and could have been. 38 on the front and should have been 35. 39 on the back and should have been 33. So 77 instead of a possible 68 in what was extremely tough conditions. Oh well Btw I know my drive was shorter than normal on 17 since I was in the trees. BUT, if you had told me that I would ever go driver, 1i, 5i into that par 5 with all of them well hit. I'd have been calling horse shat lol. fozcycle 1 Quote Driver- Tmag 2017 M2 tour issue 8.5* actual loft 7.8* w/ HZRDS Green PVD 70TX" Fairway Metal- Taylormade SLDR Mini Driver 12* w/ Fujikura Rombax TP95-X" Utility- Mizuno MPH5 1 iron w/ Aldila RIP 85X (depending on course/ conditions) Irons- Mizuno MP- FLI HI 2i w/ Aldila Proto ByYou 100X Mizuno MP59 4i-6I w/ PX 6.5 Mizuno MP69 7i-PW w/ PX 6.5 Wedges- Scratch 8620 Driver/Slider set. 50*, 54* bent to 55* and 60* Putter- Taylormade Spider Tour w/ flow neck Ball- Bridgestone Tour B X Bag- Sun Mountain C130 Supercharged

Liberty Ball Markers
About 50* today, might not be playable again until Sunday, so we played this afternoon. Just like yesterday, sloppy outta the gate - 42 and even par back - 36 for a 78. I'll take any final score that starts with a 7 and be happy with it! jaxbeachpackerfan
Played today, great weather, although a bit cool to start. Almost a 30 degree difference from tee off to finish (42 to 70), but sunny and no wind, so very pleasant throughout. Shot a 41/43 84, for my second best round in the last 7 months. But oh, while some parts were good, it could have been so much better. Three birdies, only second time I've ever done that. Driver was best it's ever been (after an almost worst its ever been last Friday). But wedges and chipping were almost a 'worst they've ever been'. Starting with the 8th hole, I had approaches from less than 105 on 8,9,10,12,13,15 and 17. Went pull (bog), chunk (bog), chunk (bog), fan and bad chip (double), lucky chunk than ran a bit for birdie, chunk (bog) and eagle chip and three putt bog. Mind you, with my normal driver distance, only on 12, 15 and 17 would I normally have a shot under 140 yds. So I was pounding the ball without really trying (and without really knowing why it was any different than last Friday). Two drives 260+ and two 270+ and my normal max is 250, rarely achieved (no wind today, again). Grip and swing change is working when I do it right, but certainly wasn't doing it right on the short irons today after the 7th hole. But even thought it should have been so much better, the 3 birdies, 3 doubles was a whole lot more palatable than last Fridays 2 pars and 10 doubles. Peaksy68
A real struggle today, back has been no good for a week after laying some turf. I'm too old for that sort of work I've decided (too late!) 11 over playing off 5 on a pretty hot day (95F) If I hadn't putted really well it would have been very ugly. When the back didn't grab I stuck the ball well, but awful when it did. It really messed with my head as I didn't know what was going to happen. Today was the first time I've ever clutched at a hamstring due to swinging a golf club, I nearly needed to get one of those old man ball suction cups on my putter it was that bad. Hopefully things settle before next week. Liberty Ball Markers
Better today - 50* and no wind. Shot 39/42 for an 81. I probably lipped 6 putts today. The pins haven't been moved in over a month due to the weather, and of course no mowing going on, so all of the holes are getting the volcano shape from all the traffic around them. chershey
Played 18 yesterday at Dunes West in Charleston, SC. After shooting 2 over through 13, I had a mental lapse and had a triple and a double on the next two holes, mostly because of poor sand shots. Ended up 7 over but could of been much better. Rob Wedge
Shot 89 with JLukes today. Not bad for not playing 18 in a year in a half, also no warm up time on the range. Had a blast, lessons really paying off. Joe had the drive of the day on 18. Looking for his ball which barley clipped a tree and it somehow ended up dead center fairway. Liberty Ball Markers
Weird day - supposed to be sunny and 50's... clouds never broke, wind kicked up, barely got to 40*. Bags
Strange round today. Started with a tap in birdie after nearly holing out with a punch out from the middle of a bush, then proceeded to butcher the next 3 holes to be 4 over after 4. Played solid boring golf for the rest of the front 9 to be 4 over at the turn. Had another awful double (my 3rd) after my best drive of the day on the 10th, followed by a run of boring pars and another soft bogey. Greens were a little slow, left 2 shortish birdie putts short, and had several putts slide past on the high side after hitting them where I wanted. Not too dissapointed after breaking 80 despite 3 doubles. last round 42/42 and it was 42 degrees and windy prob 10-15 gusting to 30 on open holes near ocean lost match on last hole my buddy 47-36 bastard I live to fight another day. 84 is no good always in 70ties Bags
