All metal putter grip?

As interesting as it sounds, 90 bucks to give it a shot just to find out that it doesn't work for you seems like a terrible idea. Would I try it? Absolutely. Would I want to pay for it just to find out it isn't for me? Questionable. Maybe MGS Admins have this one in the works to test...Maybe. Or could be a next season thing? @GolfSpy_APH may be on that, but I would presume we wouldn't know until that Testers Wanted post came out...Hahaha

You can buy a demo/slightly used one for $35.

Might be a good opportunity for an “unofficial” review if someone did purchase one.

I'm betting that the sweaty palms and arms will be more of an issue on the aluminum than heat.

Now, after sitting in a vehicle for a few hours and then pulling out the putter for a practice session?  Then I see it being an issue.

The other consideration will be the size of it. Pulling in and out of the bag, rubbing against other grips/clubs/surfaces and getting marred up.

Very true. You'd need a bag with an umbrella holder or standalone putter slot to avoid getting everything else seriously banged up

definitely interesting.  Machine Putters made aluminum grips many years ago that were actually pistol shaped and not round.    The feedback grip is interesting and would be something I would like to try.   But you definitely want to be a player that wants a counterbalanced putter since they come in at 149gr and a larger round profile.

I'm not a counterbalance putter person but 149g sounds like a lot to me,

On weather temps etc; this won't be as big of an issue as claimed unless you have your grips out in the direct sun. All mine are grip down in the bag. I'm not golfing in sub 40 degree temps either. I mean, I love to go out most any time as long as it's not lightning, but I don't love it enough to chafe my nipples walking to the tee box.

These grips sound interesting enough to try.

I own one and wrote the original post. More than willing to do an unofficial review!

Been using mine for two years. It’s the same size as a traditional super stroke and come out of the bag easier as it isn’t as tacky. Never have scratched up a club or shaft and I use a 5 section bag.

I think that would be good, more so since you have been using it for a while.  You can create a new thread in the member test section on this.  Pictures also go a long way.

Your input would be valuable to the entire community!

I am wondering how the grip holds up in the rain. It seems it would slip and twist in the hands.

I would be interested to test something like this and how comfortable the grip would be.
