My wife and I just got back into the sport this year and have been enjoying the game again. We have been going to the range 2-3 times a week and 2-3 rounds also at our local course. She has been taking lessons and her game is coming along quite well. We bought a Rapsodo MLM and now have a net in the back yard. Maybe we are golfers ;).

When I was still back east i did a few Dragon sessions, whoever designed 128 has a special place in automotive heaven. I have had 10 Miatas and am alowas looking for my next ex Miata. While I don't have any dragon pics, here are some from the 25th anniversary at Laguna Seca...

My favorite miata has been the mad max frame out builds that get more interesting every year.  Part rally car, part dune buggy, 100% miata

I am "the wife" and co-owner of SkiTalk.com. 

If you had asked me a year ago if I'd be totally sucked into golf, I'd have laughed in your face. 

I went to my first lesson on May 22, 2023. 

I journaled what the Golf Pro wanted me to do for drills and later took notes on what was working and what wasn't working. 

I took my questions back to my pro. 

Phil has also been extremely kind and has helped me with things I didn't "get". 

After a few weeks of lessons and practice, Phil would joke he was a golf widower. He'd wake up and I had the golf channel on. He'd go in the back yard and I'd be hitting balls. He'd get in the car and I'd have the Xm Radion on Golf network. .... you get the idea. 

 

I'm fully assimilated. I only wish my practice and diligenc would start showing up on my score card. <sigh>

Thank you very much. Maybe in the Fall when people start thinking about skiing. Our golf discussion on SkiTalk is ramping up some so we will be back and forth. Seeing how you run this place, I see a similar synergy between the two communities.
