Im still getting used to the green temps when deciding uphill, downhill and breaks but that aspect is improving

But on vacation now until night of the 18th then work 2 days then vacation again until September 3rd or 4 th

Hmmm so I may have done a thing. Makes it feel a bit more realistic.

 

As a engineer we have a term called foreseeable misuse... There's a reason there are only 2 screws to make this happen. 

Pardon the messy basement and cables everywhere.

Yea I have struggled with speeds too but it really throws me off if I play on speeds other than 10.

Distance changes are less of an issue for me. I moved to a cycle of using backswing distances to help with distance control. For example, 5 yards is 9 inches for me on a 10 Stimp. Then I adjust for up or down slope based on height. If it drops by a foot, that may be a 5 inch backswing instead of a 9. If I move to a faster stimp, all the adjustments come down, so an 11 stimp might be 8.5 inches

btw, this is my practice setup. I use a ruler so I can ensure my swing distances are consistent for when I get out on the course. it has the same on the Matt but it’s not really visible enough for me

It isn’t available on the iPad app or we could. It would be boring to watch though because you can’t speak during the match. You can just make an emoji sign.

ExPutt Match Play Extravaganza 8/7/2024

Todays matches went smooth from my perspective, I did not have any , absolutely no issues with the ExPutt working as designed. The program ran so smooooth, when you wanted to change your (line) aiming point on breaking putts, ExPutt moved swiftly without delay no matter if it was left or right, using the on mat arrows or with the remote.

I really enjoyed the random putting distances and positions for each players putts.  ExPutt --Great Job with the match play process. 

We had 2 great matched last evening, first match was like the Olympics, we had @MissionMan from Australia and @pozzit and @buckpillar from the US.. Missionman start out fast with a long birdie put to take the lead with Pozzit and myself holding our own, as this match progressed Missionman increased his lead with another birdie putt from way downtown, leaving the fight for 2nd place to Pozzit and me. Pozzit made some crucial putts and I went brain dead and finished in 3rd place. 

 Match 2 between Pozzit and BuckPillar was battle to the end, through the first 7 holes we were all square, Pozzit and I were trading putts, he'd win a hole then I would win, but we got to the 8th hole and this is where Pozzit took the lead in the match and never looked back winning the final 2 holes and raising the trophy.

This was a great evening that I enjoyed tremendously, Missionman and Pozzit are rolling the rock very well and I still have some work to do with reading the greens.

Thank you gentlemen, I appreciated you taking the time out of your schedules to join the match. Looking forward to the next round.

I will try to record a couple holes next time, but like @MissionMansaid, not much to view except for the putts running by and an occasional emoji popping up.

Last time I tried to record off the TV it caught all the transitions from the TV screen.

Sorry everyone, been distracted the past few days , my uncle pasted away and was attending the funeral services. 
 

Exputt practice update 

I did manage to get in some practice with the analysis feature, I’m start to see the progression in a positive direction. My stroke is becoming less of a cut across now, face angle has improved , now seeing the ExPutt data taking shape every time I practice, I will try to get some good pictures and post them.

ExPutt is really starting to shape up my putting.
