Inside look at the SLDR

We were talking last night about how the SLDR was designed and the guy from manufacturing explained if you cut open the SLDR, you could see a lot of the weight low and forward.

The pictures don't really show the crown, face, or sole thickness, which is how some of the weight is distributed, but it does show the differences in weight of the different pieces of the head

 

Crown - 29.2g (14% of total weight)

Sole - 64.1g (31%)

Face - 78g (38%)

Screw - 3.8g

Sleeve - 7.8g

Weight - 20g

Is that second picture the underside of the crown?  It almost looks insulated...

It's amazing to me how they design that.
