Shankster
1 hour ago, EasyPutter said: As a push cart only golfer, I stumbled on this way of loading my 14 divider bag in the last round of this year. Notably it groups club lengths and types in vertical stripes as they lay back on the push cart because of how it angles the bag, The putter with the shortest shaft is the lowest in the bag and the club heads get progressively longer towards the top so that apart from similar length clubs tapping when uncovered there is no clubhead to shaft contact. Truth is I am going to remove the LW because my low swing speed doesn't need a club that pops the ball forward about 10-20 feet... usually from back of the sand to under the forward lip still in the sand. So pull that out and cascade everything down on that side and it leaves room at the top for alignment rods and {dare I say it? Yes I do} ball retriever, with the unsightly thing under a clubhead cover of course 10° Hybrid? Shapotomous

I do this way too often and not only with the 6 and 9. A few weeks ago I had a 150 yard shot which had to carry about 135 to clear a water hazard. I set up, swung, and made the kind of contact we dream about. i watched the ball take off on a beautiful high trajectory right online with the flag. I hear my cart mate do the “go! Go!” thing, and I’m thinking to myself “huh? This is perfect....” PLOP!!! The ball lands in the water, way short. Thought I had my 7, somehow I grabbed my 9. I never understand how I don’t notice the shorter (or longer) length at setup, but I rarely do.
