I’m not going with the link. I use a iPhone XR and I don’t see a huge battery loss. Tap ins are harder to get it to register. It really drains my Pixel 3 battery. Link got delayed because they wanted to add the ability to mark pin locations to it via a button. It's supposed to come out sometime in August or September I believe. I guess that's where I like the simplicity of my GAME Golf Live. I tap the club and I get audible and haptic feedback that it registered. Only way for it to miss a shot is if I forget to tag. I usually end up double-tagging a few times a round, but I don't think I've missed a shot totally yet this year. I have had zero issues with Arccos detecting full shots or even partial shots around the green. The only "issue" is when I flub a full shot and it only goes 5yds, and I hit my next shot with the same club. I have to add that second shot in because the system is built to allow you to take multiple practice swings in the vicinity and have it not count as a shot. Arccos does not hurt my battery life at all. I am using an iPhone 7, and have not had a battery issue on the course, even with my after work 9 hole rounds where I have used my phone throughout the day. I have mentioned it elsewhere but I have had a couple instances where my PW flew 20-30 yards farther than normal. Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using MyGolfSpy mobile app Actually I haven't seen this at all. They have been very consistent. Not meaning to make this an Arccos question spree, but what can I say, I'm curious and might be looking into Arccos or something similar Mate don't worry about chunks or thins or trees or water . I have had two tracking systems now and I highly recommend you get one. fozcycle
Hey all Spies! Just been reading I. The background this year, trying to stay quiet. However, I have a question....... Do any CCC testers have an iWatch, Series 3 or 4? The reason I ask is that Arccos works like a GPS watch with the iWatch. Pretty amazing once you get the hang of it. I had signed up for the Link, then my Series 1 iWatch developed a crack in the housing so I got the Series 3. Also, are you using the Caddie? Are you playing the suggested club or are you second guessing and playing a different one? If so, are you going up or down?Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy JohnSmalls and sirchunksalot 2 Quote Driver: 0311 XF 10.5* w/Project X Cypher 40 gram Senior shaft or 0811 XF 12* w/Evenflo Riptide CB Senior shaft Fairways: 0211 5W & 7W w/ Evenflo Riptide CB regular shaft and Tour Edge E521 9W w/Fubuki HD50 regular shaft Hybrid: None in bag at the moment Irons: Titleist T300 5-PW w/Fubuki MV Senior graphite shafts w/Golf Pride Tour Wedges: Edison forged 49*, 53* and 57* wedges with KB PGI Senior shafts(80 grm). Who has changed their game by using the "caddie" in arccos? Who has had the most fun trying to play using this feature. I found it both fun and frustraing. You guys are doing a killer job.. keep it up.. Sent from my SM-G900V using MyGolfSpy mobile app Hey @Reesedw, I don't fully use the "caddie" feature as I don't take the time to look at their model for playing the hole. I just look at the recommended club and then decide if that is the correct choice based on the scenario or if I am grabbing something else. Arccos does not fully understand ball below or above your feet, fairway vs rough vs thick rough, shot height required etc. I take those things into account with club selection, where it seems Arccos purely makes recommendations based on distance. fozcycle, THEZIPR23 and JohnSmalls 3 Quote In my Ultralight Stand Bag: Driver: Rogue 10.5° - LH - Project X EvenFlow 60 Stiff Woods: King F9 - LH - 3/4 Wood - Atmos Blue TS 7 Stiff King F9 - LH - 5/6 Wood - Atmos Blue TS 7 Stiff Irons: King F9 - LH - 5-GW - KBS C-Taper Lite Stiff Wedges: King Black - LH - 52° 56° 60° - KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 Stiff Putter: - Impact No. 3 Ball: Maxfli TourX Rangefinder: LX5 Watch

I've looked at the Caddie a little bit but haven't fully tested it out yet. Feels like I need a little more data with a couple of my irons before I can fully trust it. Up until last week I had only hit my 5 iron a handful of times and one of them was a complete shank that was bringing the overall numbers down quite a bit. 9 minutes ago, MaxEntropy said: I have a follow-up to this question: I imagine anyone not named @fozcycle is likely playing/practicing more than normal. It's impossible to assign an accurate percentage around how much is the clubs, Arccos, or increased play. I'm sure it's a little of each of those plus the increased focus and attention to detail we all have since we have to report our rounds and statistics in the forum.
