Good morning Spies!

Rainy day in Chicago after a long series of sunny ones. Can't complain much, but I was hoping to get to the range after work today. We'll see if it clears up enough later on to go.

Woke up to see another incredible testing opportunity for the Forum with the Skytrack+. The Forum staff continue to crush it with banger after banger. Good luck to all who apply!

Need to lock in and get some work done the next couple days. Been an unproductive week with family visiting and interfering with our normal routine. We'll get some coffee shortly and get after it.

Should be able to join the Community Call later on, work permitting. Have a great Thursday, all!

Good Morning everyone!!  Missed the last couple of days so I have some catching up to do.  Yesterday I went to the course to practice pitching and putting; full swings still hurt my upper back on the followthrough.  It was a nice cool morning, so I walked to the Columbia River which is less than 1/4 mile away then walked along the riverwalk path...

Such as nice day; I should be playing while it’s cool and no wind, but what’s the challenge in that!!

No golf again today.  Tomorrow we are headed to Pendleton Oregon for the 1st round of the Ladies Epson Tour.  Looking at the field it seems to be a mix of young talent and names I recognize from years ago trying to make a comeback. 

The weekend is almost here!  Get ready!  Play well!

Played some disappointing golf yesterday but otoh my lovely wife pulled off not one, but two .. TWO .. birdies on short but pretty tricky Par 3s!!

We'll get 'em next time, right? Haha work in progress....

Another relatively quiet day planned today. I've got mostly just personal summer tasks to complete for work while my wife has to go by the funeral home to start some of the process for her father. Kids start school tomorrow, which is going to be fun. My wife's friends have been coming over to check on her, which has been great, but as a result they have messed up the kids bedtime, so it might be a challenge getting them to sleep on time tonight for school schedule. I guess it's a minor thing in the long run, but there are a lot of adjustments for everyone to go through right now. Probably won't get out to the course until tomorrow, so looking forward to that.

thinking about starting the tailgate party tomorrow early for Saturday Steelers game, the company got each employee and their spouse a ticket and 50.00 in food/beverage cash. They are doing giveaways at their tailgate party and all that good stuff. Can’t wait to add to my personal Steeler photos that I have taken over the years, got some good ones.

Morning All,

We were supposed to run the "O" course today as our command PT, but the fact they are out there doing repairs meant we had to shift to something else. All the Fitness leaders were saying beach run, which would have been nice. But they got over ruled by a higher ranking person, so we had to do a 3.75 mile run because that's what they wanted to do. I made it 2 miles in my boots that didn't have my orthotics in them before my IT Band told me that I would not be running anymore. It was definitely a blistering pace I was on. To the tune that I would have come in last place in the womens 5000 meter race with my time by almost 10 minutes. I'm not a long distance runner. Although I did have my 3 mile runs down to 24 minutes back when I was 25. so almost 14 years ago. Anyway, going to hopefully get out of work a little early today so I can take the pups up to was them then put their flea and tick medication stuff on them. other than that, I feel refreshed and ready for Saturday morning. Also, Tomorrow is going to be an awesome day. Going to see the Savanah Bananas play in Norfolk, VA. Super excited for that. Hope everyone has a great day.

It's a half day for me and I'm taking tomorrow off, so hopefully the next 4 hrs won't suck.

Not much to really comment on. Just waiting for Callaway to get me my TD Max driver that I ordered last month. Ugh, the waiting sucks!

But I think it's time to sell my Ti 340 Mini as I'm going to make either the TD Max or STMax 230 work one way or another. Plus, the BRNR Mini is just more comfortable for me on the Mini side of things.

Anyway, I better go do some work for the next 3 hours. Have an awesome day all!!

Good morning Spies! No aftereffects from last night's Rypstick session. Shoulder is still sore, mind you, but no worse than yesterday, maybe even a tiny bit better. GF reports she is recovering well from surgery, albeit with a lot of (fully expected) swelling and bruising. Seeing her surgeon today, flying home tomorrow if all goes well. She's supposed to wear a mask, compression stockings and take it easy for a while. We'll see if she can do all those things (I have my doubts). Meanwhile catsitting continues. It's been easier than I had expected.

Wow, the testing hits just keep coming. I'm really tempted to apply for SkyTrak+ since I'm not entirely happy with my Garmin. Although I think the main issue with the Garmin is my indoor sim setup, not the monitor. Which probably disqualifies me from applying anyway, since they want indoor and outdoor data.

Speaking of the Garmin, if work permits I'm going to try to get out to the range and get some data with the big dog. That's if work permits. It's coming in quickly this morning.

Good Thursday Morning Spies! 

Only 83 degrees and cloudy & muggy. No golf today, A/C guy was supposed to come this morning for annual checkup. They canceled last minute. Since no golf I tackled yard work & mowed the lawn. OMG it’s freaking hot! lol & worse than walking 18 holes on the morning! 

Looking forward to Community Call this afternoon! MGS is certainly turning heads in the golf industry. Last week Snell Golf did a video disputing MGS findings & yesterday on Instagram MGS posted another manufacturer took exception to testing results! Well Done MyGolf Spy!!

Morning!

Yesterday I replaced the workings of a failing toilet and spent a couple hours in the yard. This morning I woke up to a dead garage fridge. A bev fridge is one of those things that isn't critical until you don't have it.. Probably check out marketplace for a replacement.

The weather has been perfect lately. Low to mid 80s. Wife gets home from her job at 4 so I think I'll mosey over to the club and whack a few wedges.

Coach is back from sick leave. Lesson tomorrow and it's severely needed.

Hope you're all having excellent coffee this morning. Dunkin for me.

I'm heading upstate for a golf weekend. There will be 20 of us and we will have a friendly match tomorrow and then on Saturday we already drafted teams for a 4 man scramble for a tribute tournament. I believe it is going to be a great time.

Uppa with a cuppa. Two down and the day to go. No golf today. The home course is hosting a tournament and there is golf league at the next closest one. The other nearby course is too pricey for me. I have a massage on tap this afternoon. I’ll have my wonky shoulder and cranky lower back worked on.

The forum is crushing it with rest opportunities. Is there anything left to test?

Boy, can I relate to that meme. My added complication is that when I leave to go to the store, even for a 10-minute, two-item run, GF usually locks me out. Really? In the middle of the day for 10 minutes on a quiet cul-de-sac? And of course my keys will be in the wrong pocket. Or I'll be carrying groceries in both hands and have to put one down to fish them out regardless.

Morning everyone. Have to split my work day into two chunks because my boss tells me I'm not allowed to work too much and I've got a nighttime training session to give today. Sometimes I hear things like that and it makes me appreciate my job even more. Depending on how the schedule works out, I'll either hit the range during that break, or help the wife with funeral stuff before the kids get out of school. Only reason I even bothered coming into the office today is because the tech is supposed to be out here to fix the air conditioning.

I was talking to one of the team leads from second shift today who works at a golf course about twenty miles north of here and found out they're holding the U.S. Senior Amateur at the Honors Course next weekend. I might be making plans to go since 1. I've never watched a live golf tournament and 2. I just really, really want to see the course. 

Go if you can, going to a live event is a lot of fun.

I was Titleist snob mostly ProV lineup but as I’ve aged my personal preference has changed.  Neighbor did ballhawking in the evenings at 3 courses next to us and he found thousands (really) of balls.  I had 1st pick of whatever he came up with and  have chatmy mind on many brands including TM, Sirxon & Callaway.  He found and I’ve played Lady’s and damn they’re really good!!

Update on my catsitting: The handle on our microwave has been dangling for several months, and the landlord decided it was cheaper to replace it than to fix it. The technician scheduled a visit for this morning to put in the new one, but they forgot to notify me. I'm out in the back yard supervising one of my furbabies at 9:20, the technician knocks on the front door and I don't hear it because I'm out back. So he leaves. And I still have a handle dangle. The microwave still works, if I can avoid pulling the handle off entirely, and maybe they'll get it replaced tomorrow.

Getting a head start since we have a 7:10 Tee Time and Doc appointment for SWMBO.  She has an infection and had surgery 3 months ago so we gave a bit of concern.

Neighbors across the street moved back to Wisconsin last week (I guess for the nice weather) and took their cart with them.Took a couple of pix of the loading.
