Hey thought I’d introduce myself. I’m a former PGA professional who has been out of the industry for 15 years and a once a year golfer for the last 6. I’ve spent the last 6 months grinding my game back in shape. Still gaming my old MacGregor MT Pro CM 4 -pw project x 6.0 along with some Don White wedges, 52,56,60 with rifle spinner wedge shafts I got while on staff with MacGregor in 2007. I play a Titleist 910 D3 driver with a Tour AD GT 6, Sonartec NP 99 with a YS 7, Sonartec trc 18 degree also with a YS7, and a Scotty Cameron Santa Fe putter.

also added a picture of me at the 1983  Masters.😎

First; Welcome to the forum........

Now for the obvious questions: What made you leave the game?........Are you back with PGA standing or going the Am route?........and lastly, No new up to date equipment in the bag!!

2008 was a bad year for the golf industry and my personal life. Dramatic end to a family lead investment into building a golf course and a divorce lead to a not so small crisis of self and jobs in other industries. Just playing, practicing and doing the odd club repair jobs at the moment. As for the clubs, I come from a fitting background and I just haven’t had the cash to go and get fit and besides I’m still shooting in the 70’s and hitting it 280 off the tee as a 46 year old.

Welcome to the Forums and glad to see you are still playing.  Love the Jones Trouper R bag... a bunch of us here just received ours on a special MGS buy.  My MacGregor Tourney VIP 1025 M irons look great in it.
