It's something PUMA has a problem with and I'm not sure why they won't fix it. ECCO is a great example of a company that allows plenty of room in the toebox.

In the U.K. we predominantly walk our golf courses, I can’t remember the last time I used a cart, I walk miles and miles in them in a week. I only wear Ecco shoes they’ve been a superb fit for me for the reason above. We also have a lot of wet conditions for 3/4 of the year so mostly wear spiked shoes. Having said that I always keep lighter spikeless shoe for relatively short dry hot part of the year. The Pumas are great for that. 👍

I just received a pair True Linkswear OG Feel shoes last week and they are the best golfing/walking shoe I've ever had. Perhaps I'll have to give the Lux Hybrid a look when I'm in the market next.

I've had True Linkswear shoes since the original “clown” shoe (still have them BTW).  Then I got away from Trues after a period where their QC wasn’t very good.  I just purchased a pair of their OG Tour from Costco for $139 ($200 on the True website).  Wore them for the first time yesterday and walked 18 holes; legs gave out on the 16th but the shoes felt good.  Might get another pair in a different colorway while they are still available.

I will echo a lot of the commentary from the write up. I’ve been using the Lux Hybrid for the past year and overall my experience was positive and I found them to be EXTREMELY comfortably. I walk about 90% of the time and finding a good shoe that I could walk in was important. I tried some Nike Air Max and never felt good after walking in them.

Back to the True Hybrids.

I bought a pair of the white ones and they looked great out of the box but are really difficult to clean and keep looking nice. I know that’s on me for buying white shoes but I’m a sucker for white golf shoes. My biggest complaint was the traction in slightly wet conditions  might as well be wearing sneakers. If it started to drizzle I’d switch to my spiked pumas. The waterproofing was exceptional.
I recently bought a pair of FJ Pro/SL instead of opting for another pair of true  id have a hard time dropping $200+ on a pair of them  but if I could find a good deal then I’d recommend them to anyone

I recently purchased the true linkswear knit 2 and 3. I’ve worn both on and off the course and both are really comfortable, though the v2 is a little looser fitting and seems to have more ‘give’. The grip is perfectly adequate in wet and dry conditions.

I recently acquired a pair of Addidas Retrocross Golf Shoes and wanted to share my thoughts.

Style - These shoes are in my opinion very classic and elegant. They don't scream golf shoe and they also aren't too formal or simple. I think the designers hit the nail on the head with these shoes and their versatility both on and off the course.

Comfort - Let's face it, we buy shoes if they look good and are comfortable. I found these shoes exceptionally comfortable although slightly on the heavier side. I have a pair of FootJoy Fuel shoes and I find the Adidas are heavier and slightly more clunky feeling. I think the Adidas are exceptional shoes if you take a golf cart most of the time. If you walk a lot, I may recommend looking at a lighter-weight option. The side padding and sole cushioning is really nice and the laces feel of high quality too.

Golf Functionality/Grip - I found these shoes to be surprisingly stable as far as spikeless golf shoes are concerned. My swing speed is around 110mph and I use ground forces as a big part of my swing. I never once slipped or felt like I couldn't attack the ball in these shoes. I am very impressed with the grip they provide.

Verdict - Great shoes for the golfer who regularly takes a cart when playing and wants to be able to drive to the course or go for a drink after the round and not have to change shoes before doing so. Spiked shoes can be a pain on the clubhouse carpet or at the pub after your 18th-hole snowman, but these shoes at least help to ease one of those problems.

If you have a standard width foot, I recommend try the Duca del Cosma shoes if you can. I won a pair, bought a pair. They are so dang comfortable.  Pricey at over $250. But I also had a 1 time coupon code for 40% off.

They are waterproof,  Italian made shoes.

Glad you like them @Rob Person but you are the first person I’ve heard that likes them for anything other than the looks. How do they feel after 18holes?

The first pair I bought are very easy on the feet.  I have a wide foot,  so went up half a size and found it fit very well. They truly are waterproof (except for the ankle area 😆)  comfort wise I had no issues wearing them for multiple times going to the range then playing after.  I even wore them to the store  and then at home .

Super easy to clean too.

This shiny pair I won are in fact women's shoes (, so I adjusted accordingly to the size and added + 1.5)

Again, the inner sole is dense and soft at the same time.  I've only worn them around the house to break them in, but no issues yet with toe crimping)

Just an old newbie golfer, trying to learn and improve 1 club at a time.
