9 or 18 ?

I prefer 18 holes, even when I played in a 9 hole league we go out and play skins for 9 holes after.

Your thinking is way to similar to mine.. but if 18 is an option ill roll with that.. but with so many leagues and how they slow the entire course 9 will be the norm.

We have a 9 hole par 3 that's one of my favorite courses but I enjoy 18 if I have time

I played 18 yesterday.  Being as I mostly play 9 holes, I started to lose my driver swing at hole 14. Just couldn't keep it in control. Rest of the clubs were fine, just not the big D !!!

So there is something for me to think about down the road with only playing 9 holes

Almost looks like it's diseased or has an infestation issue. Hope they get it sorted quickly, I haven't seen the course look anything short of great condition in the times I've been there.

This dry spell & excessive heat has been tough on Indy courses....and golfers.

I don't know about you, but I've already written this weekend off & next weekend isn't looking much better

I understand that. It's a bit warm! League last night was too bloody hot. I am playing tomorrow and Sunday morning, but starting just before 8am and only playing 9 at the local with different groups of friends.

I prefer 18. I rarely play 9. In the past year, my split is 41 rounds of 18 holes and 3 round of 9 holes. I must've gotten in 2 or 3 rounds between 9 and 18 because the numbers don't add up otherwise.
