COBRA CONNECT 5

Cobra Connect 5 Challenge partnered with Arccos, all participants receive a 13 club Cobra bag and will take part in various challenges.  To broaden the reach of the line, the competition will consist of four Radspeed sets of clubs as well as  two King Tour MIM sets! The full bag includes a players choice of:

  • Driver
  • Hybrids/FW
  • Irons-either Radspeed or King Tour MIM (must choose one on your entry)
  • Wedges
  • Cobra Ultralite Stand Bag

This years event will be a team format, with 3 players on each team.  There be weekly or bi weekly challenges for teams and/or individual challenges.

Prizes will be awarded for each challenge and for the overall winners.

Team Captains

We also have a fun addition in adding team Captains, but not just any Team Captains.

Team Chad-Chad DeHart - Manager, Product & Innovation @ Cobra Golf

Team Yags-Mike Yagley - VP, Innovation/AI @ Cobra Golf

Both Chad and Yags will be following the competition closely, and may or may not have a side bet or two between them on the results.

And don't be surprised if depending on circumstances and availability, the Captains may jump in with their respective teams one week for the competition.

Oh SNAP!  So glad this is back for another year!

Two great team captains.  Both great guys over there at Cobra... I'd have a hard time picking one to root for.

Good luck to all those who apply, this is such a great experience if you have the time for it.  Just put your flame suits on... if you thought the guy from Boston was annoying last year....

LOL The chance of being picked is so slim with my stats and bag of misfit clubs...  Might be the only way I will ever play new clubs so flame proof pants would be good except after eating hot foods 😅

But hey, the chance to play Cobras and with my new swing I have because of PGA HOPE and coach Brian Jacobs Golf this winter... with this kind of club change up I could be moving to lower handicap and more fairways, who knows!  PGA Tour (is still safe from seeing me this lifetime) 🤣

Last year was truly awesome. I know all the competitors had an absolute blast and we had quite a range of stats between us. I want to say there was a 20ish point handicap range difference between us but the competition rounds were handicapped to make things fair.

It is a lot of work, but it’s entirely worth it!

I am all in!

This would be an awesome contest to be part of.

I play virtually every day, so I can make it happen.

Thanks Cobra & MGS for putting this opportunity together!!

Let's see some more following along! (pretty sure when I crashed last night it was at 1800 so it doubled overnight) Probably with a push from instagram and such which I saw. Great to see more people on the site and hopefully a lot of them will join in for the ride as well as keep the search going through other threads as well.

Recently added a Radspeed driver to the bag so this would be awesome to participate in. Count me in. 👍🏼

Have seen the King Tour MIM’s up close and those things are lovely. Definitely my choice if selected and would love to treat them to some of the fantastic courses we have here in Scotland.

I have no clue how this would work with ‘Team Challenges’ but always more than happy to review things in an honest unbiased manner. Love my Cobra King F7 driver, the only Cobra club in my current set up and would appreciate the opportunity to review a Radspeed set. As I get older I need more distance assistance and the Radspeed irons might be a step up from my current Ping i E1’s. I also use ShotScope watch and club tags so comparison to Arccos Connect would also be good to see. Send me the test clubs 💥🏌🏼‍♂️🙏

Not sure what the challenge entails but would love to participate.  TeamCobra!

Would really like to be selected to give this a try, I have been fascinated by the one length concept for a while now so that is definitely the way I would go. Best of of luck to all who apply, I will be following this intently whether selected or not.

I am interested in learning about these clubs.  I would like to really see how KC stacks up.

Great to see this again!  I wanted to get more into the challenge last year as an outsider, but just didn't have as much time as I'd hoped.  Going back and forth this year as I'll be injury free and ready to go.  Also, I've gotten a SkyTrak so I'd be able to add in some great numbers and insight for comparison as well as playing virtual rounds of golf with weeks that are tighter scheduled.  Not sure yet, as my biggest objective would be to offer tremendous information to our great MGS folks.

I'll see if I'm lured into the sign up by the deadline.

I used to play cobra forged tec irons. Loved them. Don’t know what I got away from them. I’m a very good directions guy. I’ll do exactly what I’m told by the team captain with out complaints.

Are lefties allowed to choose either or are we only allowed to pick the rads as the mims aren’t available on cobras sight as lefties? I found that out after selecting mims.

mims are available LH, it was only on release they were RH only! Since the copper release they are now available LH for both.

Too bad they aren't available in One Length though or that would have been my choice!

Same I looked at the one length, but sadly not there. I would have loved to taken part of last season with the one length forged tec. Those are irons I have always liked and got along with. However I've also owned both the AMP Cell and FlyZ Blades which are truly incredible so the King Tour could be a perfect cross between them.
I also wonder for the teams if we will see one King Tour MIM, one Rad Speed Regular, one Rad Speed One length per team?

That would be my guess.

I have always been intrigued by the One Length as I tend to struggle with my long irons more than I would like.  I do hit my 7/8 iron well more often than not.  The Radspeed doesn’t seem like a good fit for my game but the MIM Tour sound perfect. That’s what kept me from choosing OL.

No matter who is chosen this is gonna be a fun follow for sure!
