I think this is a picture of Moe demonstrating his “feel”.

Glad you enjoyed the thread, one plane has been fun so far.

I demonstrate my feel with a square face, but my impact position is more like Moe's demonstration. 😂

Do your research…. Find a pro to help first.

I'm going to try to hit a few balls based on the basic concepts and see what happens. If it seems somewhat successful, then will seek an instructor. Nothing too lose right now, my iron game is block, block, pull to compensate for the block, thin.

Check out Kirk Junge on YouTube.  He is easy to understand, and it is more like a traditional swing than the others you may find.

Good luck.

@Shankster - i signed up for the monthly subscription for Kirk Junge's program and started watching his videos. The basics of this feel very natural compared to a traditional two plane golf swing. I like it a lot so far.

Awesome.  You are more dedicated than I am.  Can’t wait to hear about your journey.  His concepts do make sense, and I did play some great golf with it.  Probably would have benefited from a lesson from him.  I’m more or less still doing it, I just have my hands lower at address, which seems to get me started on the right path.

Anyways, can’t wait to see how it works for you.  I think a lot of golfers would do well with it

When I first learned to play golf (the very brief amount of time I played golf as a kid), I had adult sized clubs as a 10 year old with standard lie angles, and I would always hold my hands high at address with the sole of the iron flat, and then I would lean the shaft forward at address and then just swing the club. At that time i knew nothing about trying to make a vertical backswing and then shallowing on the way down (two plane swing). So all the stuff he is saying feels more similar to my swing as a kid (when I actually use to hit everything straight) than whatever i do now.
