A 14-year old local girl here can drive the ball about 260. Not sure why she didn't try to enter the DCP contest. She took 6th place in the WJGA Western Open in Olympia a week ago. Had a poor first round; shot 80-73. Big money Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Took my niece and her father to an open house at my teaching facility.Today was about introducing juniors under 10 Years old to this great game.Equipment was provided along with instructors - TrackMan and a handy Video of their first lesson.Was amazed how these young boys and girls got in natural correct hitting positions without being told.Maybe it was the slightly heavier equipment or maybe their minds haven't been bogged with the years of swing tips we all tried and failed miserably at.Had a great time by all today.Makes me wonder that some of us folks just well never get this game no matter how many lessons we get ole gray, MattF, Rickp and 2 others 5 Quote Keep it in the short stuff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I believe Ping had to change their TR grooves after being sued or threatened to be sued by EvnRoll. It is designed to stand so you can line it up. There have been putters like this in the past. From my testing, it wasn't something I would use. I line up with my face slightly open so I would have to point the line right and it actually messed me up during the most wanted testing. I ultimately went back to my normal setup after hitting a few putts.
