Severtheties
I hope you have an email account you use especially for singups and things and gave that one to True Car. I'm a USAA member as well and did that last year, 15 months later I'm still quotes and emails from car dealers!! It was out of control the first month or two with calls and emails from them. Biggest mistake I made giving them my personal everyday email We'll the emails have been ok but some of the calls are ENDLESS. It's amazing how I've never talked to one single person at a particular dealership, yet I get 2-4 calls and voicemails per day for the last 2 weeks. tony@CIC
As background we have the PGA qualifier at our club on Monday. My wife and I went out to play 18 today at 4:30 (generally very fast play). There are two singles ahead of us playing verrrry slowly. Finally around #5 I can see the problem. Both singles think that this is the driving range as they are playing anywhere from 4-6 balls. We decided to skip a hole and go up to the furthest single and let him know he was backing everything up. We startled him because he had his radio cranked up really high. He was apologetic - but really have some consideration. Also our club should have set some rules for these guys as well as advise the members that there will be slow play this weekend. My wife and I are very understanding (we volunteer to help not only for this qualifier but also the MAC girls college golf event) but these two guys were over the top. Kenny B
Last week I re-gripped my putter. I had this fatter grip laying around, not a Super Stroke, but I wanted to try out that type of grip and then maybe get a Super Stroke if I liked it. The grip feels great; much better than my old grip. HOWEVER, I am leaving most all my putts short; sometimes a lot short. I never did that before. I don't think the grip is allowing me to release the putter like I did before. I've had it on for a week, and have been practicing with it and playing a couple of rounds, but unless I can get the speed of the putts back to what I expect, I will have to re-grip with a standard putter grip again. Nothing worse than leaving a putt short in the jaws! cksurfdude 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
