Photo Sharing sites - to host pics to use here.

Anyone using an external photo Sharing site to host their pics, that they then include in a post here via a link???

 

I know there are a bunch out there, but curious if anyone's using one that's...

-- simple and straightforward,

-- not burdened down with ads,

--lets you do basic image editing,

..etc.

 

Have not checked via logging in to MGS via my laptop, but I suspect my user account may have maxed out its allocation for uploads.

 

Google Photos .. which is very useful .. generates a sharing link that yields a security error in the forum software.....

It's a PITA, but I use Photobucket because I've got everything there. Just don't try and use the app...next to useless.

 

It can be slow and does have some ads, but nothing adblocker can't handle.

I just export my photos from iPhoto in the correct file size and attach to the post.  easy peazy lemon squeezy

Have an Android phone, so upload all my pics to Google Photos .. which has a few but probably not as many image editing tools as iPhoto; eg. you can crop but not change file size nor resolution.

 

Also Google Photos gives each pic (file) its own unique ID, so the pic filename no longer ends in "jpg" and cannot be linked to (nor exported to) the forum software....
